Negative friendships!

We are used to uttering the following saying: “Tell me whom you walk with, and I will tell you who you are!”
This is a reality, because many young people think, “I am around them, but I don’t do what they do!” It may be that you don’t do it for now, but you support what they do, or you aren’t bothered with their mistakes, because you enjoy it! It’s just a matter of time before you have the same attitudes!
“Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?” (Amos 3: 3)
If you want to be a testimony of the Lord here on Earth and have a full and blessed life—you have to pay the price, that is, you have to sacrifice!
Nothing that comes from God comes with ease! God teaches us that by faith we conquer, but He never said it was going to be easy! It requires of us to deny ourselves, deny our own will, and if friendships have influenced you in a negative way, you also need to sacrifice them! It’s no use just having the desire—you have to practice it!
What’s it worth saying you have faith, but you don’t take the attitudes that your faith requires you?!
My friend think, God doesn’t want us to suffer in the future, that’s why He left us all the teachings so that if we obey, we will be complete and saved! Do not allow yourself to be carried away by emotions and attractions, have a goal!
“…Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.” (James 4: 4)
Try to be friends with people who have something positive to pass on to you, choose your friends!
Be a friend of God and an enemy of the world!
Understand, you are either God’s friend or the world’s friend! There is no way to be friends with both of them!
You and I have the free will to choose!
See you next week!

This post makes you realise that you can’t have the best of both worlds, sometimes we don’t even intend to be like them but there all small traits that will soon become our character and habits if we continue with friendships as such. Amazing message Mrs Viviane.

This is so true nothing that comes from God Is easy, therefore if the friendship we have displeases Him we have to cut it off. Regardless if we do not do what they do.

This post is so strong! We must sacrifice to live a life according to Gods will, even if it mean bad friendships

Yes very true Mrs Viviane, we have to choose friends that will pass something positive to us.

I SO agree with this message, because I’ve had bad experience with friendships and my time knowing God I’ve lost a lot of friends but don’t regret. It was all for the better.
