Negative friendships!

We are used to uttering the following saying: “Tell me whom you walk with, and I will tell you who you are!”
This is a reality, because many young people think, “I am around them, but I don’t do what they do!” It may be that you don’t do it for now, but you support what they do, or you aren’t bothered with their mistakes, because you enjoy it! It’s just a matter of time before you have the same attitudes!
“Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?” (Amos 3: 3)
If you want to be a testimony of the Lord here on Earth and have a full and blessed life—you have to pay the price, that is, you have to sacrifice!
Nothing that comes from God comes with ease! God teaches us that by faith we conquer, but He never said it was going to be easy! It requires of us to deny ourselves, deny our own will, and if friendships have influenced you in a negative way, you also need to sacrifice them! It’s no use just having the desire—you have to practice it!
What’s it worth saying you have faith, but you don’t take the attitudes that your faith requires you?!
My friend think, God doesn’t want us to suffer in the future, that’s why He left us all the teachings so that if we obey, we will be complete and saved! Do not allow yourself to be carried away by emotions and attractions, have a goal!
“…Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.” (James 4: 4)
Try to be friends with people who have something positive to pass on to you, choose your friends!
Be a friend of God and an enemy of the world!
Understand, you are either God’s friend or the world’s friend! There is no way to be friends with both of them!
You and I have the free will to choose!
See you next week!

This is very true whomever you choose to be around with manifest in our ways , I have learnt this from my own experience. is easy to be lead by the emotional attachments we gain that we become blinded by what’s is in front of us. But have spiritual eyes to separate ourselves for God.

This is really true, it’s a reminder that I need to make sure I’m friends with those who can pass on postive things to me!

I chose to be GODS friends, this has taken me such a long time to realise that the only true friend that gives the best advice is Jesus Christ.
Thank you

This is so true. Sometime we lie to ourselves by saying that we don’t do what our friends do but eventually you start doing the same things.

WAs hard for me to sacrifice the bad friends because Iam someone to cling. When I have someone and Iam close to that person I don’t let go easily

Sometimes the world is inside the church, here I have met the judgemental and right hypocriteS. I met a lady who swears, drinks more alcohol than people outside. The person had 2 personalities inside the church and outside. I had to separate myself as I was becoming judgemental.
