Who is the intruder?

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.”(John 10: 1,2).

The devil is the one who has intruded in your life uninvited, however the Lord Jesus does the opposite: He knocks at your door and waits for you to open it! He is not an intruder He respects your own decision.

This is why it is important to be sensitive to the voice of God, for He will only take possession of your life when you surrender completely. But, the devil on the other hand, sees there is no such surrender and feels he has the right to enter into your life. He does not ask for permission to enter, instead he invades a person’s life because there is no commitment with God. Even if it is unconsciously every time you do not obey the Word of you are giving the devil access to enter into your life.

This is why the world is in chaos! Because people do not want to have a commitment with God and so the devil robs them of happiness, harmony, joy, family, health, and financial life, hence the disgrace that the world is faced with.

God waits for a person to call on Him and make Him a part of their life. And how can a person do that? When they use their faith and prayer, which is very important.

I notice that often people are in the church and they do not communicate with God. They do not speak with him. And that is not good because your thoughts are not focused.

When you direct your voice to God you are not only materializing your faith through your words, but you are also showing that you believe. You would never open up and speak something that is intimate to you unless you believe.

Even if you attend church if your prayer is only whispers and you say nothing the only one who loses out is you!

You can even go to church, talk about God, accept the “advice” given, but if you live differently God will not enter in your life. You have to materialize your faith this is the door that gives God access to your life.

Every time I’m in danger, I have problems, doubts, or am in a situation that I do not know what to do, I tell God about it. Regardless of the problems I’m going through I talk to Him about everything because He is part of my life.

When I do this, I am allowing Him to enter in my life!

You must make God part of your life and talk to Him sincerely. This is the secret to a relationship with God. You will not find the solution by only reading these articles you must put the words into action, with attitudes that show your surrender to Him.

We’ll be back on Wednesday, and I want to see your testimony not just a thank you. May your life be an opened Bible! How? Through your words, conduct, and life.

  1. The most important thing that stood out to me here was ‘Regardless of the problems I’m going through I talk to Him about everything because He is part of my life.’

This shows that it’s through our actions that we give the devil access to our lives, so we have to do things that will show that only God has access to or lives, by letting Him know what is going on

  3. Hello Mrs Vivian
This is very strong and when we obey the word of God we closed the door on the devil who want to force is way in, I was in the church for a long time and still didn’t know God the devil take control of my mind as his play ground I was far from God and need to open up to my God to be sincere when making a prayer not religious, from the day I learn that and start making a sincere prayer I was free. I start to here the word of God and obey it I would put in to practice what I learn I become a new person I start to have a relationship with God. With this message I will invest and get even closer to him and start making many changes.

  4. I’ve always heard that talking to God is very important for your relationship with Him, but I never seen it the way it was put in this post. It’s so true when you said Mrs.Viviane that you don’t just open up about your personal life just because. You open up because you believe and because you know He can help you. God is the only one that will be there for us at end of the day. He will never fail!

  5. Hi Mrs Vivi, Our life’s is s result of our communion with God, this doesn’t mean that The person will not face problems and challenges in her life, but because a person obey the work of God and she depends on Him, she overcomes all the situations that appears in her life.

  6. This IS POWERFUL! Our Conduct, words and life are the ones that reveals if we have indeed surrendered our life completely to God. That is why we have to continually monitor these three aspects(your words, conduct and life) at personal level. When you monitor yourself you are able to see if you are part of the body of Christ or not.
