Who is the intruder?

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.”(John 10: 1,2).

The devil is the one who has intruded in your life uninvited, however the Lord Jesus does the opposite: He knocks at your door and waits for you to open it! He is not an intruder He respects your own decision.

This is why it is important to be sensitive to the voice of God, for He will only take possession of your life when you surrender completely. But, the devil on the other hand, sees there is no such surrender and feels he has the right to enter into your life. He does not ask for permission to enter, instead he invades a person’s life because there is no commitment with God. Even if it is unconsciously every time you do not obey the Word of you are giving the devil access to enter into your life.

This is why the world is in chaos! Because people do not want to have a commitment with God and so the devil robs them of happiness, harmony, joy, family, health, and financial life, hence the disgrace that the world is faced with.

God waits for a person to call on Him and make Him a part of their life. And how can a person do that? When they use their faith and prayer, which is very important.

I notice that often people are in the church and they do not communicate with God. They do not speak with him. And that is not good because your thoughts are not focused.

When you direct your voice to God you are not only materializing your faith through your words, but you are also showing that you believe. You would never open up and speak something that is intimate to you unless you believe.

Even if you attend church if your prayer is only whispers and you say nothing the only one who loses out is you!

You can even go to church, talk about God, accept the “advice” given, but if you live differently God will not enter in your life. You have to materialize your faith this is the door that gives God access to your life.

Every time I’m in danger, I have problems, doubts, or am in a situation that I do not know what to do, I tell God about it. Regardless of the problems I’m going through I talk to Him about everything because He is part of my life.

When I do this, I am allowing Him to enter in my life!

You must make God part of your life and talk to Him sincerely. This is the secret to a relationship with God. You will not find the solution by only reading these articles you must put the words into action, with attitudes that show your surrender to Him.

We’ll be back on Wednesday, and I want to see your testimony not just a thank you. May your life be an opened Bible! How? Through your words, conduct, and life.

  1. Mrs Viviane I am going to put this into practice from today… As I believe it is very true. I can’t only speak to God when I’m trouble or wen I wake up, go to bed. I understand through your blog that I have to communicate with God fir everything. That way if I always have God in my head there will be no room left for the devil.

  2. Our communion with our Lord Jesus is very important, when we are constantly close to him the devil doesn’t have a chance to force himself, even when he tries to do so we will always overcome because God will be fighting for us always.

  3. Hi Mrs. Vivi,

I thought about what you wrote. God always knock and asks for permission and the devil sees opportunities and enters. He just needs that space. Applying this to me I have to think in what way am I allowing the devil to stay in my life. I have noticed that in certain situations I have allowed myself to be led astray by my own understanding and not God’s. The word that stood out for me is ‘surrender’. This has been on my mind – the more I surrender the more God can come in – not just the surrender of sins but surrendering my desires for God’s, surrendering my ideas, thoughts, beliefs, all for God’s ideas, thoughts, beliefs – basically His will. The more I surrender, the better my relationship with God will be, the stronger I will become. Another thing I will make the effort to do is to turn to God in every situation. I have been pushing to turn to God for everything but I will push myself to go further.

    Thanks for sharing,

  5. This is really interesting. If i want to allow God into my life i need to shut the door to the Devil and open the door to God otherwise the devil will intride in my life. And also i need to put thses blogs and readings in to practice by letting it show in my attitudes and actions

  6. Mrs Vivien, it is like nothing you can imagine. People may think talk to God” I to speak to God when I am going through a situation but not only a trial or test but I like to talk to Him when I am having a blessing because I want to remember Him and have a close Relationship with Him. It felt a bit strange at first but when I stated to trust Him and see what He was doing because I put Him first it was a Great Joy. thank you for this I believe will help many people to start to build on their relationship and start to trust God more
