What do you like to do the most? (Part III)

We continue with the question of the month: “What do you like to do the most?” We already addressed two subjects related to this. If you have not followed these posts related to the Work of God, I advise you to go to the links and get started from the beginning.

“And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh…” (Gn.6: 3)

Why flesh? It’s because the person is seeking his or her own honor. He or she wants everything to go well and flow, so they can feel good about themselves!

And what happens when you feel good about yourself?

You demand more from others; you do not watch; you think you are “worthy” of a position … and when another colleague receives a position instead of you, you feel it’s unfair, and you do not understand why. After all, all the attention should be focused on you. You ask, “If I was growing, why didn’t I get the position? Why did that person get this responsibility, if I’m better than him or her?”

This happens when you expect something or you feel like only you are worthy of realizing certain functions.

When I feel good about my job, I feel independent, I know everything, I have control, I know how to manage my time, I know how to grow, etc.
When you overcome, you have to be careful with everything that makes you overcome because this is not a blessing … Blessings are not my possessions!

The proof of this is that Jesus lost everything and everyone to the point of even being without the Father. And it was after He lost everything that He was allowed to return to the Father and sit upon the throne. And so, before Him every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess!

The Father did this when the Lord Jesus lost everything, to prove who He was. He lost His “title” and was naked … but before all this, the worst thing was to be away from the Father!

He “lost” not because he did wrong, but out of obedience! If the Lord Jesus did what He pleased, He would not have died for us on the cross, because it was not pleasing to Him to be away from the Father.

God will not act forever in those who delight themselves of earthly things, those who take on what their eyes covet.

And before all that, have you already responded to the question: “What do you like to do the most?”

Continuation next week …

  2. Indeed Mrs Vivi if what I like to do the most are things that have nothing to do with God then I have to change this as in yesterday before it’s too late. Thank you for this.

  4. Cuando Jesús se entrego por nosotros dejo todo a un lado. Para que nodotros tuvieramos la victoria sin embargo no quiere decir que somos merecedores de algo.

  6. Good morning I just wanted to share what I have learned from reading this blog. its crazy how its like this blog is talking straight at me because I would get mad and upset when other people received a responsibility or greater position than me and its not like that. like when it said in the blog how we feel good and confident but then again we feel that we are better than people and we are not we say to ourselves but if i am the best one the hard worker why she get that position and not me. But we have to think maybe god made that happen so we can realize that we are wrong for thinking that we are somebody or that we are greater than or better than someone.
