Self-esteem and love life

Last week, we talked about self-esteem and today we will continue with the same theme, but will include love life. Why?
Because if you aren’t able to love yourself, to value yourself, if you don’t know yourself, how will you know what’s best for you? And what will the outcome be?
The wrong choice! That’s it! Often for not appreciating yourself, you don’t make the right choices: It’s very easy to please you with the minimum, you don’t impose limits, your partner does what he wants to, he doesn’t value you, and in some cases there are betrayals … and you still don’t do anything about it!
Do you want to have a future different from what I described above?
Marry God! Your marriage with God makes you start to value yourself, to have standards that are not imposed by today’s society, where there is no discipline and decency…
I didn’t accept to marry someone who didn’t believe in what I believe, who didn’t have the same faith, who didn’t fear God! I was sure that God had prepared the best for me, even if I didn’t know when and how it would happen…
Because before wanting to marry a person—I married God! And He confirmed it, He gave me the absolute certainty that he was the right person, and the feelings didn’t control me … When God gives you something—there is no doubt!
Marry God, and only then you will make the right choice in your love life!

This is my prayer on behalf of my children. Whenever we think of love life we tend to become emotional, we just pick a partner through feelings not listening to the holyspirit or even take time to know and understand the person’s relationship with God. I believe its start with an individual his/ her covenant with God.

Thank you Mrs Viviane for sharing this post, as Love life is one of the areas that cause many youths to fall and through this post I have been able to understand that before I even think of my love life, I need to love and value myself but I also must marry God as when I marry God, I am allowing God to take control over my life and giving him the ability to care for me and protect me.

Love life is one area where emotions should not be used but often this is not the case. For me I’ve realised from this message that it’s better for me to build on my relationship with God more than anything. I have work on valuing myself and valuing the life that I share with God first before making room for anyone else to have a relationship with.

I wished I had married God before I embarked on any relationships. it would have spared me the unnecessary heart.
