” Then Mary took a pound of very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil. “(John 12: 3).
Mary’s attitude was registered as a testimony to all of us, of what it means to be for God!
Everything she did cannot compare to what the Lord Jesus had done for her and even if in the eyes of many the scent was too valuable to pour on the feet of the Lord Jesus. She did it because she knew nothing compared to the benefits of His presence!
And how many have this thought? That they are too young to surrender their life and there are plenty to do and enjoy before putting their life at the Savior’s feet!
She realised that what she had was “nothing” compared to the greatness of the Savior of her soul!
She didn’t ask anyone what to do!
She took an attitude!
She went by her own faith!
She loved Him more than her own life!
She did not worry about the criticism and what they would think about her!
She sacrificed; she was thirsty and she loved Him above all!
The sacrifice that is made to be at Jesus’ feet is spread as a delicate and pleasant aroma, that everyone around you notices it!

if you are thirsty you look for something to take away the thirstiness.and if am thirst of the presence of God i will always live sacrificial life for him to fill me.

I understood that I should be like Mary. I should not bother myself about what the world thinks of me or the doubts I may have in my mind. I must surrender all my life to Jesus because there is nothing in this earth more valuable than my salvation.
