Youth, are you in the spirit or in the flesh?

In order for God to trust great things in our hands we have to mature and in order for that to happen, we must go through the wilderness, we have to be prepared.
The same thing happens in school, in college, we have to study hard, but how do we show that we have learned something? When we take a test, that’s when we prove if we will be prepared to practice a profession in the future.
Many don’t think, they go to school just to pass time or because their parents obligate them. When it’s time to take a test they copy someone. They don’t realize that to be someone in the future they will need to learn today.
In order to become a good professional you must have experience, be mature, and in order to mature the person has to be strong, courageous, overcome many barriers and obstacles. By doing this you will improve every day.
When it comes to our spiritual life it’s no different, except we can’t “copy” from anyone.
And we’ll be tested many times when we are in need, with what ever we need the most at the time and if we’re not in spirit we will fall.
We will not see that situation with good eyes, or think it will pass, or see that it will strengthen our weaknesses and make us more mature.
That’s why we have to always be alert, always practicing the Word of God so we do not fall into temptation. It is written, “… And do not lead us into temptation… ” (Luke 11:4) “…who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able…” ( 1 Corinthians 10:13 ).
The devil’s main weapon is doubt. He is astute, acts with strategy, and works in our weakness. If you and I are not careful we will fall.
In the wilderness where we are tested we will show what ‘s inside, we will show who we are.
How about you, youth, are you in the spirit or in the flesh? What’s inside of you? Maybe we have already been tested and maybe because we were not in the spirit we didn’t pass?
A hug!

I think this is one of the main reasons we should practice what we learn in church and also what we read. Lately I haven’t been very spiritual but this blogs are helping to remind myself that I have to work my faith and to take action of what needs to be done to keep moving.

for my to overcome all the deserts in my life, i should always be alert in spirit. in this way there is no tool that the devil will use to put me down. not even doubts because i will always be in connection with my Jesus.

This is very strong Mrs Viviane, we all want great things in our lives but not willing to go through the tests or wilderness. This means I need to be in spirit so that I may be able to overcome even in the desert. Great things comes through sacrifice.

When in the wild and put on fire in the desert I know who I am. I agree with above post.
