The “inheritance” of disobedience!

When Eve ate of the fruit of the tree, in the garden of Eden, that God had prohibited, we received an “inheritance” for her disobedience.

“I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth your children. Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.” (Genesis 3: 16)

And that is why we carry a very deep root called: insecurity!

A woman wants to be accepted; she loves it when she is called beautiful, well-dressed, intelligent; she wants her partner to give her attention, to say he loves her often. She doesn’t feel good when there are other “girls” more developed and prettier than her; she fears change, she depends on the opinion of others, etc. The list is very big!

And the more she receives, it is never enough! She always feels she has the right to receive more from the person she loves!

But… how to change this situation?

We can reverse this situation when we invest in knowing the value that God gives us! He loves us unconditionally, He values us, and forgives us and is always ready to help us to change!

But it is not “free”, it demands from us to be in constant sacrifice!

If you focus on searching for the security that comes from God, there will come a moment when the many things that once made you insecure, they will not make part of you. And it isn’t because you aged, or rather, you do not depend on your age nor the circumstances, but yes, in your relationship with God!

Ah! There are many, who because they don’t want to recognize that they are insecure, the fault is always in the people around her.

Value yourself, because you are of the highest value to God!

  1. I understand that for me to cut down the root of being insecure which is an inheritance from Eve. I must seek the security of God because He values and forgives me. I must live in constant sacrifice to seek God.
