hi mrs Viviane
i have been, and still am struggling with communication and battling with selective mutism as i thought that speech is the only thing in my life that i could have control over. i have learnt what happened was wrong. Yet i still run away from everything. i go through phases of forcing myself to speak, or simply echoing other peoples thoughts or opinions. as i was told, “to just copy and do as i do.” all i wanted to do was make, see those around me happy so that they where not feeling unloved or unwanted because of social exclusion in society like i experienced. its wrong to complain, and i am wrong for this, but i would like to continue to learn to become a friend to myself. listening to the audios is helping. thank you.
