How to dress for church

There are different opinions on how to dress for church.
Some say we should go, as we are, something simple that we like and feel good in.
Others say that we should wear our best clothes, because it is a type of offering.
Friends, of course you have to dress to feel good wherever you go. When we talk about dressing for church we should not make it a fashion show, because that’s not the intention. The intention is to take care of our inner being, but why not give it your best and dress according to your age, with the colors and outfits of the season?
Think with me: If you are invited to a wedding you want to look beautiful because you care for the person that invited you. Maybe it’s a dear friend, a relative or a loved one and you want to show that affection by looking your best. Women on their wedding day want to look beautiful for their husband, right? Why should it be any different for Jesus? He deserves our best; it’s your encounter with Him, treasure this moment!
As we discussed in previous posts, if you are a young dress your age. If you are older go for elegance. You shouldn’t use see through clothing or clothing that show more than others want to see. You should use colorful, clean, and ironed clothing. That way you will be well dressed for such an important moment. That is my opinion.

i agree with your opinion miss Viviane as woman of God we have to call our best and we must make our Lord say that “truly this women are my temple”

Thank you for sharing Mrs Viviane. I truly agree also, as when we dress our best to church it’s an offering we are giving to God as we are going to his home to find him. We always should look our best for God as he done his best for us and the small things by dressing well is also a reflection of how we are on the inside.

Before I enter the Godllywood Rush I wear a skirt once my whole life and now I can say I Love wearing skirts 🙂
