Day 8 – Who is a true worshiper?

Hello to all the cybernauts users. It is a great pleasure to be here with you. Today is already the 8th day. Today’s topic: Who is a true worshiper?
“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (Jn. 4.23-24).
My cybernaut friend, you know when you get married, at the beginning of the marriage, you have several errors, but you are passionate for you husband. But you have so many imperfections and errors that as time passed by; you revealed what was hidden from his eyes, through your attitudes, the way of thinking, acting, speaking, etc. And when you see that there are several errors in the relationship, you realize that this “love” was really a passion; you loved in a selfish way, you wanted to receive and not give … not really wanting to serve better, not giving something better, but wanted everything to your advantage.
At the beginning of marriage, when there is passion and not love, the person is very selfish, proud, unwilling to acknowledge their mistakes, they want the partner to change. And what happens, this person begins to look at her partner with criticism, because both were not in love, they were passionate for each other, and now that they have to adjust to each other, and learn to love, to give themselves to each other, each one begins to defend their stance and they end up not giving themselves.
This is just what happens with many people who are listening to us right now, and they are “passionate” for Jesus. But their passion is related to an exchange…you give to Him so that you can get something in return! If He doesn’t do your will than you think it’s an injustice, you grumble, change your attitudes, you say that you will no longer do this or that, won’t do vows, you will not surrender yourself because it’s the Lord that is not fulfilling.
When Jesus said…”But the hour is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth…”
When we speak about spirit, it refers to something rational. God is Spirit, and you don’t love Him with emotions. There is no way to worship God, being “passionate” for Him … that is not what He is seeking. But He is seeking worshipers who seek and adore Him in spirit and in truth. Those are the ones that are conscious of who they have been, of how God has acted in their favor, of His great mercy that He has had upon them; that you have been saved, that you went through rough situations but it was for your own good so that you can recognize and that’s when there is worshiping and appreciation. You worship Him is spirit and in truth because you saw who you were. These are the ones the Father seeks to be His worshipers!
How can I worship God if I don’t see myself as a sinner or in need of mercy? It is impossible!
That’s why my cybernaut friend, you have to enjoy your moments at home, at church, on the way home, talking to God and saying, “I do not know You, but the little I know about me, I want to expose to You, I don’t want to stay quiet, I want to surrender myself!” Because, have you ever noticed that when a person is not at ease with others, she stays quiet? If you’re really being vigilant, than you have a lot to talk to God. There is no way for me to put words in your mouth so that you can repeat them and say what’s inside of you…that’s not going to happen—it has to be something that flows within.
And when you express what is within yourself and of everything you believe, that you want to happen with you, then the baptism with the Holy Spirit happens. You get the answer!
And even you, who are baptized with the Holy Spirit, do the same thing! I go to church regularly, just like you, but if I go to the meeting and pray to God, thank Him, praise Him in a way that does not make sense, I’m not being alert, not seeing myself imperfect, as if the mistakes I have are not painful because I considering them irrelevant since “everyone makes mistakes, everyone is a sinner”… when it’s time for prayer and I do not surrender myself, that moment passes by as if I was a religious person. I can’t act this way…
But since I want to take my opportunity, because I know Him and I know how much I need Him, how much of a failure I am, how much I have to be vigilant, how I need of His guidance and am dependent on Him, than it is impossible to keep my mouth shut or lose my concentration. For example, sometimes there are people who desconcentrate me, talking and pray too high and I can’t concentrate…so, what do I do? I kneel, speak and hear my prayer! Because if you “whisper” as if you were “cat calling”, then other thoughts come because you’re not focusing on what you are saying. And God is Spirit, so there has to be something rational. That is why something mechanical and systematic, or an imitation does not work, because it is not rational—it is not real.
What matters to God is that you worship Him in spirit and in truth; that your words be real. Stop pretending and doing something that is not real, something that doesn’t correspond to what you really have to speak. Be real, because God loves those who adore Him in spirit and in truth. Don’t speak just to say you did your part when in reality you spoke something that was not even within you…how are you going to adore God that way?
Think about it and do your part, for God says that he who seeks finds. So if you haven’t found, it’s entirely your fault, because you are not seeking! Run after the time you are loosing, not with anxiety, because if there is anxiety there is doubt, and if there is doubt than faith doesn’t exist. How will I talk to you about something that I have doubts about? It is because I am not at ease … I’m not original!
When you are not unique, what do you do, how do you react? You don’t say exactly what you would like to say! And that’s how you are going to be with God? No! You have to be original, say the truth and expose what is going inside of you.
Take the opportunity, because it passes! And all the signs are happening … Jesus is coming back and if you do not receive the Holy Spirit, you will stay because you will not have the strength to overcome your limits. It’s time to understand the need for you to act upon it, take responsibility to do what you have to do.
And you who are already baptized with the Holy Spirit, it is for you to receive something real and not artificial! Because that doesn’t work, not here or anywhere. You have to adore God in spirit and in truth. I have to have a practical faith, not have a dead faith. I cannot afford to be a bishop’s wife, the daughter of Bishop Macedo, and think that things are resolved; once saved, saved forever. This is a thought of a possessed believer! I never understood this, or even will allow this to happen to me—I have to always be vigilant.
There has to be a manifestation of faith, surrendering and disposal. You have to demand from yourself results of the faith you profess and believe, and honor what you have spoken to God—than you will not be the same person. When you get near to God, you won’t stay with your mouth closed…. because you have things to say. You expressed your faith, saw and have seen the wonders of God in your life. You don’t live from the past, but from today! Like Jesus says, “the hour has come” and this has to happen, daily—living in newness.
A big hug to you, and I wait for your comments.

Thank you so much for the post Mrs Viviane. It’s so rational and makes so much sense, we cannot worship God unless we know ourselves – who we really are, how much we really need Him. It’s not about wonderful words, it’s assuming my condition, opening myself up and exposing myself before God.

,Dear Mrs V,thank u about this message and thank to Lord Jesus for using u in my life,as I found the the reason why I’m not baptize yet with Holy Spirit,I was passionate for Jesus, the passion of that related to an exchange, cause as my life it’s a mess right now full of doubts and confusion and everything that surruonds me it just pulling my life m it’s only when m in church that can fing peace,so it’s clear now to me that maybe I was just giving my life to God cause I want something I return, now I’ll pray and seek God’s presence in truth, cause the hour has come.

Hello Mrs. Vivi,
I was baptized in the Holy Spirit years ago. But somehow my faith is not in the same level I want to be. I get easily overcome with doubts and I see many mistakes in me. What I learned here today is that my relationship with God is like a marriage. I feel revolted with the wrongs that I see in me. I never realized that as we get closer to God, the more mistakes we will see. I also learned something today, the second coming of the Lord Jesus. I have not been vigilant enough. In this fast, I have been asking God to show me what I am missing out. He gave me the answer here on your blog. He is coming back and He will take His church with Him. If I don’t have the Holy Spirit, I will be left out. Oh, how wonderful the Lord Jesus is. He looks after His flock. Everything I have been fighting for is just vanity. His Spirit is the most important thing. I have to guarantee my salvation and it is only possible through His baptism. Thank you Lord Jesus, bless Mrs. Vivi and use her more. God bless!
