Day 5 – I want to…How do I do it?

Hello to all the cybernauts.

It is a pleasure to be here with you on this 5th Day of the Fast.

Yesterday we talked about the Samaritan woman and the water she was seeking, which would make her thirst again. And also about the water that God offers us as a source of constant wellspring for eternal life, which does not allow us to thirst … ever again! And you may be asking, “How can this happen? I always waited for people’s assertion; always tried to be approved; always was afraid to be who I was, worrying about what others will think or say about me¨… Then it´s because you are thirsty! You don´t know the “water” that springs to eternal life. Because it´s not possible for this source of living water to be within you, and continue to depend on people and circumstances to quench, for a moment, your thirst, like something temporary. And that’s what God talks about!

When you set out to do the Fast, it is for you to focus and dedicate your whole life, because all you have searched for: success, family, love life or whatever else, will always bring you thirst, because there is no perfection. But when you have this water which is the answer, just like you try to find an answer through this audio, it shows that there is this thirst within you. Maybe you´ve looked among friends, in your husband, girlfriends, at church, etc., a word from someone to give you the answer…. Because you thirst, cybernaut friend. But sometimes your thirst is on something that is temporary. So you´re saying, what is todays subject – “I want to drink the water that Jesus offers me, from which I will no longer have thirst and I will be a constant wellspring for eternal life. I want to address this issue, this question, doubt, fear and insecurity once and for all, because I see myself persecuted, scared, confused…. What do I do?”

So pay close attention:

¨The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I may not be thirsty or have to keep coming here to draw water.” Jesus said to her, “Go call your husband and come back.”  The woman answered and said to him, “I do not have a husband.” Jesus answered her, “You are right in saying, ‘I do not have a husband.’  For you have had five husbands, and the one you have now is not your husband. What you have said is true.¨ (Jn. 4. 15-18).

My cybernaut friend: You say you want the water, right? But there’s something you haven´t said… You didn´t speak to God about yourself! When the Lord Jesus said to the woman: “Go, call your husband and come back …” He spoke about her wound that was not resolved within her, which was her sentimental life. And certainly He was not only referring to her husband, as a man, because she had someone, but the problem she carried within herself; the “water” she was drinking from and made her thirst again …which it´s also your case.

I will tell you one thing, which will revolutionize your life: You want that living water? Then assume who you are!
And what you will say is what you´ve carried within yourself; the truth that you are afraid of confessing, to assume, which you constantly run away from … That which someone speaks about you, and you always run away, and become “outraged” because you never accept the truth. But for you to drink from the water that He has to give you, you have to assume your condition.

“Jesus answered her: You are right in saying, ‘I do not have a husband.’  For you have had five husbands, and the one you have now is not your husband. What you have said is true.¨

Jesus mentioned what the woman had not said, but she assumed that it was true!

Cybernaut friend, spill it out! The more I speak to you of my experiences, what do I have to lose?
Perhaps you think, “You are the daughter of Bishop Macedo, Bishop Julio´s wife, how do you have that courage, that audacity to talk about your life so transparently … Something that is hidden from the eyes of others? Because I’m afraid, afraid of what others will think of me …”
That is your problem! You don´t assume it for God, you don´t confront the problem you are experiencing, but you hide it, and that way you don´t resolve it.

I assumed my condition to God, regardless of what others thought of me. I had to go in front of the altar and baptize, as I did, even as a bishop’s wife, regardless of others’ opinions. And I tell you: I received and I receive this water because I have assumed the condition I’m in. And that’s what I want you to have, cybernaut friend! Assume your condition so you can receive the living water, this constant wellspring!

Why do I have something to give? Could it be because I am a bishop’s wife or daughter of Bishop Macedo? No! The only difference that can exist is the attitude of faith, belief, obedience, and the fact that I launch myself! Do you have this courage? So then do it, cybernaut, make yourself available to God. Look for a small place right now to search for Him. And when you get to church and something touches you, go ahead, if you have to do it …don´t depend on what others think of you. Talk about what is inside of you! If you are tired, confused, say it … Do not be a hypocrite, using words to “please”, to “beat around the bush” at the time of the prayer … Use the words accordingly to what you are living, talk to God and say it in a tone that you can hear, and not whispering.

Do your part and you will see that when you end that prayer, you will no longer be the same, but there will be that wellspring and you will receive the Holy Spirit in this fast because you truly surrendered yourself.

Keep on following the audios, be aggressive with everything that holds you back, retains you and exclude it from your life. Practice with boldness and strength that which will serve as an addition to your life, as you´ve heard in the audios. And what have you heard? Is it not life?! So put life and willingness to do everything for God!

A big hug!

  2. Sometimes, i guess we think it’s much easier if we keep on being the people we are, then no big sacrifice or confrontation will be done, not even a self introspection will be required. But just as Jesus knew the state of the Samaritan woman, which she also affirms by not hidding it, so does He know about our state as well. The unfortunate thing about hidding our true selves to God because of fear or talks which causes insincerity is that it hinders us from having the fullness of God in us. This is something i can personally relate to and able to inderstand and i thank you and other pastor’s wives who help me to realise that eposing myself to God is not a loss but rather a gain. Just as you are able to transmit what you have, i also believe that in due time, i will also transmit the living water to those who hunger and thirst for it.
I’m glad to have come across this post today. Thank you Mrs Viviane

  3. Oh Mrs. A very strong testimony indeed! Yes, I totally agree with you! When we assume who we are before God, we are set free from the masquerade that we are in. Our Christian faith is not revolved around tradition. We have to assume a living faith in God. One that is pure and true and dependent on Him and no one else.

    Thank you for this post!

    God bless!

  4. Thank you for the post Mrs Viviane. It’s never easy really, for one to assume their true condition but we have to put aside the concerns and be completely honest with God; be transparent.

  5. Dear Mrs. Viviane, May God continue to bless you and may you continue being a constant wellspring to us.

Your message is confirming what our Pastor’s wife was saying in a meeting we recently had, that we need to open up, that we cannot get help if we do not open up to God. Now the Holy Spirit is again making sure that the message is clear and that I understand it. I have heard what the Holy Spirit is saying through this message and I will do according to what He has instructed me to do through your message.

I will be here tomorrow again.
    Thank you Mrs. Viviane
