Assistant that is a “complainer ” and the one that reports

This week they wrote to me asking, “Luisa , what is the difference between making a complaint and reporting something ?”
Let’s look at the differences:
Complainer
- When I speak of something or someone, for my own benefit ;
- The intention is not good ,but of self-interest ;
- The goal is not to help;
- Behind the complaints there might be bad eyes, jealousy and malice ;
Reporting has a completely different connotation and is linked to:
- The Zeal for the work of God ;
- Fear ;
- The salvation of your soul and that of your neighbor ;
- intelligent Faith;
- When we report something or someone, it’s because firstly our intention is to please God and not be accomplices of sin.
When should I report ?
Whenever you put in jeopardy the work of God and above all your soul and that of your neighbor .

Thank you Mrs. Viviane, this is perfectly clear, if I am looking out for myself then I am a complainer, if I am caring for the work of God and my neighbor without bad eyes then I am doing what I should…above all I should be sincer when looking into my intentions.

Besides realizing what God expects for us this article helped me tell the difference as well. I’ve been in situations where I saw something that was wrong from another server but I stopped myself from telling because I thought telling was gonna be doing them wrong. But if its to help them so be it. Thank you again, God bless (‘:

This goes hand in hand with one of our offerings given this month during the rush month and the clearly shows that difference between the two. It’s not always easy to report but as stated it is done with the zeal of God; with good intentions and using intelligent faith this was very helpful. Thanks so much!

This has really helped me understand the characteristics that distinguish a good servant from faithful servant. The faithful servant chooses to report people not for their own personal benefit but because of the fear that they have towards God and also because they recognise that they need to look out for their neighbours, whilst also offering their support to them.
