Assistant that is a “complainer ” and the one that reports

This week they wrote to me asking, “Luisa , what is the difference between making a complaint and reporting something ?”
Let’s look at the differences:
Complainer
- When I speak of something or someone, for my own benefit ;
- The intention is not good ,but of self-interest ;
- The goal is not to help;
- Behind the complaints there might be bad eyes, jealousy and malice ;
Reporting has a completely different connotation and is linked to:
- The Zeal for the work of God ;
- Fear ;
- The salvation of your soul and that of your neighbor ;
- intelligent Faith;
- When we report something or someone, it’s because firstly our intention is to please God and not be accomplices of sin.
When should I report ?
Whenever you put in jeopardy the work of God and above all your soul and that of your neighbor .

This is the real meaning of being a good and of being a faithful servant. When you are faithful everything that you do you will put God in first even when you report something, not for someone that can’t do anything because it leads to gossip, but to an authority who can deal with the situation.

Thank you for this post. This is something that I have learnt recently. I hope to never have to report anything, but if in case I need too, I now know how to handle it and know the differences of complaining and reporting.

i had to report someone in the work of God as I felt betrayed that the person is meant to help me but instead he lied to me, that was my early days in the church and I was disappointed but God showed me that these people are still men and they can’t be perfect if not they would be God and that I have to be careful not to become judgemental but instead pray for the person.

I had to report someone about their behaviour as he had an impact on other people. My intention was not to see this person gets told off but to make this person aware as sometime people from the exterior see us better than us.

Thank you for this its important to analyse your intentions when reporting something for us to see if we are doing it because of the zeal we have for the work of God or the anger we have over what was wrong
