Assistant : Assistant full of the Holy Spirit

Today’s article will be just a deep reflection.

Who is the assistant full of the Holy Spirit?

We are in another Fast of Daniel, and could it be that you are actually living this moment with all the intensity, or it has just become a habit of participating of this fast, like if it was something religious?

How so?

Maybe you’re doing it without a specific goal for your spiritual life, because if you don’t do it you will be frowned upon before others; after all, you are an assistant!

What is your purpose in this fast? Because you want to be an assistant full of the Holy Spirit?

My fellow companions, our words are useless if they are not accompanied by attitudes … if you’re not going among the afflicted, if you are not attending, if you don’t take life to those that are in need … what type of fast is this for you who are an assistant?

Notice what is written in Isaiah 58: 6

“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?”

Analyze well what kind of fast you are doing … for if God gave you His Spirit, it’s not for you to just be stuffing yourself and “fattening up”, but above all to be His witness and take what you have inside of you to those who are much in need.
