7th day – When is it the time for Jesus to manifest His power?

Today, on the 7th Day, we will talk about: When it is time for Jesus to manifest His power.

You are doing this 40-Day Fast and have set a goal, but when is Jesus going to manifest His power in your life? That is the big question!

You want results, not “small talk” you want to get the results of your faith. So in today’s reading we will review a true fact, and make a parallel with your life:

“On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” (John 2:1-3)

Let us take a look at this situation: Jesus and His disciples were invited to a wedding and His mother was also there. When the wine finished, the one who presented the problem to the Lord Jesus was precisely Maria. In other words, she presented Him a problem to solve. “Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.”(John 2: 4)

Why wasn’t it Jesus’ time yet?

“His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”

Notice the rational reaction of this woman, full of intelligent faith! Rather than groaning and saying, “He called me “woman”, His words were strong and He said it in front of everyone, how will that make me look…? ” Maria saw the Lord Jesus’ words as an initiative to address another question: “Since I can not solve the problem, then I will tell the servants to do whatever He tells them to, in a way that they would obey Him.

“Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. “

Note that the servants could have asked Him, with what authority He was giving them orders to take those heavy jars. Usually at a wedding only the groom would have that authority. But they obeyed without questioning!

See how important it is to take advantage of God’s Word, in Spirit, because it is what sets apart those who serve and those who do not. It leaves no doubts of who is who. Those servants obeyed, even if they had to pick up those heavy stone jars filled with water. They submitted themselves and obeyed what the Lord Jesus asked them to do.

And so you and I must obey, be flexible … and a small detail, the servants went beyond what they had been asked to do, they fully filled the jars!

If they had filled them with a small amount, the miracle would have been proportional to their action.

When your investment is small, you will receive little. But if you “fill to the top”, and puts all your strength in obeying God’s Word, then you will see a big difference in yourself.

” And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it. “

Jesus did not check if the jars with water had turned into wine. He had determined it by telling them to take it to the master of the feast.

When there is a belief, we speak with determination; we have conviction, strength, and shine. When someone talks to us with determination we obey, why? It is because that person is transmitting conviction and stability.

“When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!””

Our act of faith brings into existence a much better “wine” than a regular one. Different than what is normal, because the miracle has a special “flavor”, it is different than the normal.

“This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him. “

Mary obeyed, submitted, and used her intelligent faith. The servants obeyed, did what Jesus asked them to, and the Lord Jesus also fulfilled His part, when?

When He spoke, and determined it. When He did this the miracle happened.

And you, friend, do you think that Jesus will only give you signs? Have you asked for the baptism with the Holy Spirit, to be born again, to become a woman of God, for something supernatural to happen?

But, what signs have you shown Him? Obedience? How about doing far more than you have to? Are you giving God your signals?

When the Lord Jesus manifested His glory, it means that He manifested His belief to the end imposing what would happen. He believed in what would happen. The same is with all those who submit to God’s Word, who accept God’s voice and make use of their faith. They manifest the glory of a living faith, without any doubt. This is a persistent faith that does not look at the obstacles.

You have to bring into existence what you don’t have, by believing what is inside of you. You have faith! Remember what happened when you first came to the Church… Several amazing things because you manifested your belief, but as soon as you stopped, the miracles stopped too! The glory of God ceased to exist and the signs in your life stopped.

You can only transmit credibility unto others when there is this glory by materializing the belief in God. When faced with a situation, whatever it may be, you must present signs to God not just by asking, but also by manifesting the glory of this belief. It’s time to act, to take radical actions, just as Mary, the servants, and the Lord Jesus did.

I want you to participate here on the Blog! What are the sign that you will give? Read and take action, revolt against this situation! You may already be in the church for years; perhaps you have become an “old prophet” with no life for yourself, and even less to those around you.

Even if you are a pastor’s wife, an assistant, or a member you have to see if when you talk to your family you convey credibility. Nobody believes in you because you have not shown signs of the faith that you say you posses. You are not radical! You do not hate the problems you have been facing and you have not assumed a position with the Word that God gave you. Now, what do you expect? For someone to put their hand on your head and pray for you? No! You are the one who has to revolt against this situation and take action! Be honest enough to express your agony.

Take these words into your life not as an offense or a “slap in the face”, but as a persuasion to get out of this situation.

I will be waiting for your comment, even you who has never written before.

I am very grateful for all of you who have participated, and have allowed me to get to know a bit of your life through your comments.
