28th day – What do we do to the work the works of God?

I’ve been following all the comments, and I want you to be one with Him, but for that you need to focus on your goal.

I know problems exist and that the devil doesn’t keep his “arms crossed” and wants to draw your attention so you take your eyes off your target.

“Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”
Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
(Jn.6: 28,29)

The Work of God begins when I believe. And there’s no way to believe without listening and being attentive.

If, for example, someone is taking care of me spiritually and I am not sincere, I do not tell that person everything that is going on in my life, I do not expose my doubts, my past, my day to day, and whatever is affecting my faith, then, the man of God can not guide me the right way.

I’ve had the opportunity to counsel many people who work along my side, and have had the opportunity to say the whole truth regarding their life so that they can be set free. But what happened? They did not say the whole truth they only spoke in a superficial way, why?

It is because they learned to do the work of God, but did not believe in this Work.

They learned to mimic what was being done, but in practice, they failed to say what was truly going on with them.

You may ask: “How can I talk about the past if I already spoke to God?”

Friend, there are situations that talking with God is a solution. But there are others that continue to bombard your mind and your consciousness.

And there are biblical passages that state that we should speak to be cured:

“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” (James 5: 16)

The same Bible that refers to anointing the sick with oil also says that we should confess our sins when they torment us.

There are people who now are facing a spiritual war, because at the same time they are trying to use their faith they feel accused with situations that took place many years ago, and not even the closest person to them knows about it. And this makes them “tied up” because the devil finds opportunity to accuse them.

When you feel accused, you cannot act with intelligent faith only with your feelings because you feel guilty, undeserving of anything, including talking with God. Their faith becomes weakened because of the doubt.

The work of God begins when there is belief. And when does this manifest itself? When there is no longer doubt, fear, than you will succeed and go forward!

You have the opportunity to speak with the pastor, or the pastor’s wife in order to expose and free yourself from whatever makes you feel accused.

You often say that sometimes you even feel a relief when you pray, but because of that you think it is the devil that is still accusing you. It’s true! It is he who is accusing you; he has gained credibility because deep down, you know you must free yourself from what is hidden from everyone’s eyes.

When you believe in God, you acknowledge your mistake, your belief. You are not ashamed or afraid of what might happen to you because you believe you fulfill what you should!

So, if you have any debt with the devil you must free yourself as soon as possible so then you can be free of any accusation.

Be honest! When you talk to a pastor or pastor’s wife tell the whole truth, and not just in a subtle way. Even if it is something too embarrassing… Let me tell you: Even if you try to show perfection, perfection does not exist! Jesus said that we are not good. We become One with Him, have His DNA, when we believe in Him and empty ourselves.

Belief is when we throw ourselves to what we have learned and heard. Like if you through yourself into the pastor’s arms and said, “Here’s the situation I experienced. What do I have to do? Here’s my problem, I might just have to listen, but I need to expose it and value myself … ”

When you expose yourself you are acknowledging your worth! Although it is embarrassing and humiliating for your pride, in fact, you are humbling your pride and surrendering yourself to God’s Word and putting It into practice.

To be one with Him, and work the Works of God it has to happen inside of you first.
