29th day – What signs can God give me to believe in Him?

“Therefore they said to Him, “What sign will You perform then, that we may see it and believe You? What work will You do? Our fathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.” And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe.”(John 6:30-36)

Everyone wants God’s favor – the “bread” – but not everyone is able to come to Him. The fact that you have a request does not require you to go to Jesus, but when you let go of your will and submit to His voice does. Then, you will no longer “hunger” because He will sustain you.

Our own will is a “burden.” But often we think the opposite that our will is pleasant and to please God is a “burden”. But this is not true! It is an illusion. Our desire is what hurts us.

Have you noticed that your will is not good?

It makes us want to defend ourselves, makes us worry, do things our way, make people understand our way of being, live in the past, it makes you intolerant to those who make mistakes… among many other things, your will is what turns in to a “burden”.

Anxiety can even become harmful to your health, apart from the fact that it prevents you from seeing the opportunities that are before you. For example: when you are among family or in the Church, because you are so anxious about resolving a certain problem or situation you do not benefit from anything or anyone around you. In the church meeting you are not attentive to the voice of God! But you are attentive to have your needs resolved, to do your will!

Your concerns, anxiety, desires, way of being, have not been the “bread”, the true food for your life, so much so, that your problems have not been resolved. But when you are open, and humble to let go of your will by saying, “My God, I can no longer be anxious. Teach me to hear Your voice, because I have heard only my will. Teach me to feed off of Your Word. I have heard and I am fully aware of Your Word, but I need to put it into practice right now. I need you! ”

When you have this thirst you no longer will tolerate the injustice you have committed regarding your faith, then you will go to Him with this “hunger”.

“…I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger…”

Anyone who comes to Jesus is hungry and will be satisfied, but they must let God take part in their life, exposing him or herself before Him.

When you believe you have confidence. You will not get worried, be full of doubts, sad … Friends, I’m not saying that you will be perfect, feelings come to everyone, including me! But when you believe you let go of your feelings and put your trust in God. By doing so you will have emotional stability that gives you faith and conviction. When we really believe we are at peace!

“But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe.”

Sometimes we have even “seen” Jesus, but we do not allow ourselves to fully belief in Him because we let the burden of our will harm us. But, when we believe, we no longer carry this burden! When you do this by going to Him and letting go of everything you will receive from Him the bread of life.

We have every day, in these 40 Days, given a Word of Faith through the Book of John, but it is not I that has given you this word but God! He is the Bread of heaven!

I am not the one who is changing you! Do you know what is happening? What God has done in me, is talking to you. When God uses His servant, who put His Word in practice he or she can be used. But when that person’s will prevails when they speak the Word of God nothing happens they do not transmit Spirit because their own life is not a sacrifice he or she does not renounce and God can not live in them.

Rejoice, for it is God who is giving to you, and working exclusively inside of you! He did that to me, and is using me to speak to you.
