26th day – Manifesting your Faith – Walking on top of your problems

To be one with God we must manifest our faith, be above our problems.

“Now when evening came, His disciples went down to the sea, got into the boat, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was already dark, and Jesus had not come to them. Then the sea arose because a great wind was blowing.
So when they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near the boat; and they were afraid. But He said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.” Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.”(John 6 :16-21)

The darkness, and the strong winds at sea made the disciples afraid. They had gone ahead alone. When the Lord Jesus walking on the sea appeared to them they were astonished!

Although we face problems because of our imperfections, and these problems make us sink, they will serve as an opportunity to manifest our faith and depend on God.

We don’t go through problems just because! It is precisely to develop our faith and to become more mature.

The more problems we face, the more mature we become.

For example: There are many people who are “new” in the faith, in which everything happens very fast. They are delivered, born again, baptized with the Holy Spirit very quickly and when they speak of Jesus they feel “powerful” As was in my case, because the Holy Spirit is power!

But years go by and we face different problems. In certain situations, I felt like God was so far away, that I was in the “boat” all alone, and Jesus was busy with other people and had forgotten me…

But that is not true. Jesus never forgets us!

When we face problems we often feel alone! But in reality, we have problems in order to save our life, to guard and maintain our salvation.

Problems serve as a warning that our belief in God cannot be “dead”. We have to be active and vigilant at every moment.

There are times when you feel weak, but when you are baptized with the Holy Spirit you overcome it! It’s not something that stays with you for life.

If by chance you say, “I have faced a problem within me for a long time, and I am not able to change although I am baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Here’s a reason to manifest your faith! If you have the Holy Spirit, you have the power to overcome the problems in your day-to-day life. This is why it is written, “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world…” Exactly because you are born of God you must overcome both inner and outer problems.

This expression of faith serves precisely to make us mature and renew us! If we didn’t have any problems we would become religious fanatics. We would speak of God, we would go to church, but we would do it in an angry manner! Because nothing new happens and we would live in the past!

This is why we have spoken that we have to renew our faith every day. We must be someone new every day!

Bishop Macedo, for example, is already 69 years old, but is “younger” than ever in spirit! If we compared him to people doing the work of God for a long time and have become systematic, without any new experience we can clearly see the difference! Precisely because he manifests his faith, learning, over the years and becoming new every day!

The spirit strengthens us and we become invincible!

The time you have in Church is not so you become an “old prophet”! It is precisely to mature you and make you invincible against the problems. When you manifest your faith you will become “new” day after day.

You, friend, if you are facing a spiritual warfare in this fast of Jesus it’s because the demons that were in your life do not want to let you go! You are facing a “war” at home, in the street, where ever you go… why? Because you are finding out your rights!

That’s why we’re doing this Quarantine, and not just to give you information. It is so you find out your rights, so you can put the devil under your feet and use your faith the right way!

If you have been following this blog, you will see that even in past articles I have always said that whoever does the chasing is the strongest! If your problem has been chasing you, then it is because the problem is stronger. And it is up to you to change that. To “walk on the sea”, this is chasing your problem and overcoming it!

Although it is “dark”, there is no direction, and the “sea” is being shook by the “wind”, use your faith! Use the intelligent faith that makes you have a goal: Being One with God! And do not let anything distract you.

I want to know from you. Write here, what you have been facing and will not allow to “sink” you anymore! Even if it is insecurity, fear, or whatever is persisting to remains inside…

Be bold and true to write your name. Do not be ashamed to assume your belief in God. When you do the wrong things it is for the devil, but when you recognize your mistake, you should also show the devil and the world that you acknowledge your condition and will face it!

A big hug for you and tomorrow we’ll be back.

  2. Hello Miss Viviane
This is my first time reading the blog from the 40 day challenge, an it was very strong. I have been facing many battles inside especially and I can’t seem to figure out why. But thinking through many messages received from meetings an this one. I have been putting everything together and, I got converted , baptized in the water, received the Holy Spirit then stopped fighting. And this has been my worst, it feels like God has forgotten me an I have forgotten him. And nothing in my life seems to be developing or progressing, it like I have the name of being alive but am dead. Evertime I try to reunite ,I draw 10 times back words, it’s like this inner battle never ends. But I want to walk on the water and overcome, I really want to overcome an fight the devil and know my rights and to overcome until the end.
    Thank you Miss Viviane.

  3. Hello Ms. Viviane thank you for the message I have been in church all my life and never really paid attention until a year ago but even then I wasn’t really involved until now and now that I have been trying I have had a really hard time in believing that I can receive the Holy spirit i’ve been trying my best to push away the devil’s thoughts but it always comes back and I never feel like i’m doing the right thing i’ve talked about it with my sister that’s an obrera of the universal church and she talks to me when I have doubts or questions but even then I feel lost I have always given up when I think it’s to hard even before trying but I don’t want to give up on myself this time even if I feel it impossible right now so that’s the difficulty i’m going though right now and i’m ready to keep on fighting. see you tomorrow Ms. Viviane

  6. The devil always raise up “waves and windstorms” to stops us to serve God.
Storms comes for everyone, but only us (born of God) can overcome it all.
That’s what prove our partnership with God is for real.
