Hello to all cybernauts!

It is a pleasure to be here with you, every day. I would love to continue these posts daily, for the rest of my life! The contact that I have with you, it is with God as well. You do me good, and it’s mutual.

Today is the 20th day of the Fast, and the theme is the following: “In what way can I love God?”

Accompany me in the book of Deuteronomy, chapter 6, verse 5:

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.”

Here is the secret to a having a relationship with God, how to love Him! I will explain to you “detail by detail,” carefully. When He says:

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart…” (Deuteronomy 6:5)

During this Fast, we have been speaking about the heart, and you know that this is the center of all your emotions, of your interior: of what you feel, there are many things there that end up predominating your life. What are your emotions? You respond, “Look, I feel very sad, pain, I get disappointed, I hold on to emotions like things of the past, etc.”

“…with all your soul…” (Deuteronomy 6:5)

Your soul is where your will is, your desire, to where you are more “inclined”, what you always want to serve. For example, you are dating someone, you are engaged and you are “super ready” to get married, you can’t wait for the day: that is your desire. This is your soul! Your desire, your will, inclusively your thoughts, reflect who are you.

“…and with all your strength.” (Deuteronomy 6:5)

What strength is this? It’s interesting that God says:

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.”

They are three very different things. Strength is your objective, what traces your path to reach it. And that is why you have strength, disposition, you are ready to achieve that objective. I am going to give you an example: you are dating and you cannot wait to meet your boyfriend again. So you put on your best clothes, you ready yourself, brush your hair; you have the objective of making him fall in love with you even more. That is what it means put to put all your strength! You dedicate your time to invest in your objective, so you take your time to get ready, you look for your prettiest clothes, because you have an objective and you are seeing it as your goal in your mind.

“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.”

God is saying the following: “I am showing you how to love Me in this way, and you have to do it with all your heart.” Your emotions are going to come, such as, jealous, envy, proud, vanity, with bad eyes, memories of the past… They will come, but you cannot remain in it! Because you want to love Him with all your heart, that means you cannot be divided by the past, by jealousy, by envy, by something personal… You have to render to Him! And the soul? That too! You cannot love and just avoid… avoid bad eyes, avoid pride, or avoid arrogance. You have to have the will, the desire to love Him in first place. I cannot put my mother, my boyfriend, my child, my husband, my work in first place. I want my soul to desire, in first place, God; you have to incline yourself and desire a relationship with Him, with God! With all my strength, which means, I have an objective of serving. Because my objective is to love Him, I want to bring something that is worthy to Him.

“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children…” (Deuteronomy 6: 6-7)

You reveal to your children what you are living. If I am loving Him with all my heart, with all my soul and all of my strength, so certainly, my words will reflect this as well! How? I reveal this to my children, to the people that are with me, that I take care of.

“…and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” (Deuteronomy 6: 7)

This verse is for me! Actually, everything that we read here is for me. God wants me to live for Him, to think of Him, to desire Him, and if I have this inside of me, when I am with my family, walking somewhere, my mind will be thinking of that, and I will go to sleep and wake up thinking of Him!

It’s funny that there are many times that we wake up, go to sleep, thinking about how to please “so and so”… Is it not true? In serving them… and not in thinking, desiring with all our strength and with our objective in pleasing God. We have to be very watchful of ourselves, because we can deviate from giving God our all, substituting Him for a personal objective or with a necessity that we might feel. Yes or no!?

My cybernaut friend, put all you strength in what is going to do you good! In respect to you, I will talk about and elaborate more on about on the post of “My Friend”, and you will “explode” (in a good way)! I wanted to invite you youths, ladies, gentlemen; it is for everyone! We will take good care for you. I am waiting for you!

Next week, we will be very close, and I will post the article of “My Friend” next week on Wednesday! So look for it on my Blog, so that you can read it.

A big hug for you! Until tomorrow!

  1. Thank you Mrs Vivi the post said a lot about me cause i realise that i was not serving God at all but my thoughts. I will go to sleep thinking about what someone said about me and will sleep thinking about the revenge. I will try to reason with myself that i will tell him like this cause this is not good for a woman of God forgetting that God does not want revenge at all. As He said we must not lean on our own understanding.
Thank you Mrs Vivi this is strong.
