Once a person sins, their covenant with God is immediately broken. When you commit a sin you are betraying Him.

How can you go back to the way you were before with God? Nothing feels the same, nothing happens when you read the bible, fasting is not the same, the meetings you participate in seem boring and every time you pray to God the devil accuses you.

There is something that you need to know: In truth you’ll never be the same person you were before.
But that’s not a bad thing. Look at what God promised:

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

When you repent, you mature, you recognize God’s mercy and you feel loved even more, because you know that He loves you and forgives you even though you don’t deserve it.

When you return to the first works, which are the foundations of every Christian: Attend Church meetings, read the Bible, pray, meditate on His will for your life, fast, present offerings, etc. You will rebuild a New Covenant with God.

The old covenant that you broke will no longer be valid because God offers you a new one!
Do you accept it?
