I am already aware of my mistake, so why haven’t I changed yet? I’m getting frustrated and don’t know what else to do.
You haven’t changed yet because when you’re in a cozy place you forget about the seriousness of the situation.
But why does the person forget so easily?
The problem is that she is being driven by the circumstances rather than evaluating things with her intellect, because if she did then she wouldn’t forget.
Because she didn’t use her head, but rather used her feelings she soon forgets. That’s why she doesn’t go forward and continues to defeat her problem.
Note that those who don’t reason can’t be defined and much less resolve anything! In other words, those who live by feelings live undefined and therefore postpone their happiness until…. they can’t take it any longer and reaches the conclusion that they have to act with intelligence.
Friend, evaluate your situation and don’t let yourself be lead by your feeling. If you let your emotions control you, your mind won’t use reason, since emotions obstruct your understanding.
You have to learn to think and be willing to find the truth.
There are many people that have been in the church for many years and are discouraged, they’ve surrendered to the easy things in life all because they simply don’t want to take the trouble to think.
Do you know why?
Because they don’t want to recognize their errors and start all over again, but they give themselves the “luxury” of wanting to overcome without any effort.
It’s important to be clear that for change to happen you can’t depend on anyone else. The only one that can change is you.
After all who needs it?

The only one who can be able to change is me and with reasons I able to overcome situations in my life..

I think it’s so strong what you have said here because it’s true, many times in the past I have confessed a mistake to God asking Him forgiveness and to help me and been deceived into thinking just because of that prayer everything will change, because I feel better now I’ll forget that the problem existed and “go by faith”. But this wrong there is no intelligence in this now that the dirt has been uncovered we have to remove that practically, as you said with effort and hard work because if we haven’t removed it we may cover it with something else (like when people cover dirt in their house with a carpet or furniture) but it is still there and sooner or later it will show itself. And though the person may think the solution is to pray again to feel better and cleansed nothing will change until we actively do something about it.
