Why don’t you make a difference?

In 2014, I saw many women who were interested in the things of God.

Many began doing the Godllywood challenges, others have participated in the meetings “Parts of Me”, and most of them did the “10 steps to turnaround”.

So then I could say that 2015 will be the year of the revolution.

But why is it that even participating in so many things, there are women who will not make a difference?

And how can it be, you may ask yourself, if you have participated in so many things and still continue to be one more in the crowd? Why is it that you do not progress? Why don’t you make a difference? That is the question that many have within themselves.

Well, dear cybernaut, you already know that I like to give examples, so that you can understand better what I have to say.

So here we go: Imagine that for some time you have felt a horrible migraine, you feel nauseas, body aches, and your stomach is always burning, so then you decide to go to the doctor.

But once you get to the doctor, you just say that you’ve had a slight headache, so he gives you a little medicine, according to the symptom you mentioned.

But now what, did you get better? Were you healed? Of course not, right?
So I ask you:

You went to the doctor, who could even have helped you solved your big problem. Who was in need the most?

He needed to know your life, or you needed to talk about what was happening?

And because you didn’t mention everything, who ended up loosing? Him or you?

And now you say, “Sara, I’m not understanding … What are you trying to get at?”

By mentioning everything about you, you do not change the doctor’s life, but you could have changed yours, right?

That is what has happened to many women in the church, they even go to the doctor of doctors, but are not sincere.

They speak superficially about themselves, and that is why they do not see their lives transformed.

Maybe you are afraid of showing yourself, and spiritually speaking, finding within yourself a very serious disease; you are afraid to reveal yourself, afraid of what you might lose.

But what have you won with everything that you’ve kept inside?

You keep hiding it, and continue to live frustrated, have been left behind, and have seen other people being transformed.
Until when will you stay like that?

Do you remember that adulterous woman? She could have tried to hide from Jesus who she really was, and what would have been the result?
She would have came out from there being the same person, but because she exposed herself, she reached the most precious thing we can conquer: eternal salvation!

There she saw the love of Jesus, maybe you truly don’t know it, because you do not reveal yourself, and keep on holding in those crappy feelings, excuse my expression, which only make you distant from God.

To win my friend, you have to be willing to lose.

So, are you willing?

“…For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.”
(Matthew 16:25)

Over the last 5 years I have accompanied several women, and what I have seen is that those who make progress, are those that are transparent and reveal what they really are; at that moment they seem horrendous, but then end up becoming the most beautiful people I’ve ever met.

While those who try to hide behind a beautiful image, where they make themselves “little miss perfection”, and apparently without any problems to solve, are the ones that do not make a difference and stand still in time, relying on the fact that they are of God just because they attend church, or have a “position” in the work of God.

Who are you going to be? The choice is yours!

I’ll see you next Saturday, and do not forget to leave your questions and comments here.

A hug!

  1. Thank you for sharing, its so true that sometimes its easier to forget that salvation is the most important thing and instead choose to hold on to an image and have people think that we are ok, I have had experience of this and talking is one of the most liberating things because it allows you great freedom.

  2. I can relate so much to this message. God has introduced to us wonderful movements of faith to help us become better women but we seldom see these results in our lives because of lack of sincerity and fear. And one such person was me. Faithful attendance to these meeting but no growth at all. Women who grow to make the difference are the ones who make themselves transparent, will lose what they have to in order to gain from God. They flourish. And this was the decision i took. I lost a lot and am still losing but after i read this, i understand that i’m making myself pure to God and i’m ready and willing to do all that i have to do to be the woman that makes a difference.
Thank you Mrs Sara for this message. Looking forward to learn from you.

  6. Wow! Very strong message Mrs. Sara. Very deep. We need to dig within us and see who we really are. Reveal who we are inside and not be superficial. Painful? Yes, but also liberating. Thank you.
