Where’s the Revolt?

Recently we have heard a lot about Revolt, but let’s clarify what it really is.

Let me ask you a question:

Where do you find true Revolt?

  • In a shout?
  • In excitement?
  • In showing strength to others?

Many people, even pastors’ wives, are living this kind of “revolt” in the church. Only when the pastor talks about “revolt.”, on the altar, they start to show that they’re unsatisfied with the way things are going in their lives.

When that happens, they start to feel uncomfortable and begin making plans, in their head, on how to express their “revolt”. The problem is, as soon as they leave the meeting, they forget everything they said to God…as if it were a joke. They then go back to their daily routine. They go to church religiously and don’t put into practice what is said in the meetings. As a result, there’s no “turnaround” in their life, it’s the same thing day after day.

They look “revolted” and even speak with authority against evil, but the facts show the exact opposite. Worst of all are the serious consequences this causes: frustration in their faith, lack of motivation to pray and, especially, fight against this lukewarm state they live in.

But why?

The supposed “revolt”they have is an illusion, because they do not live by what they say and don’t push toward thier goals!
True Revolt leads us to lay eyes on our target!
