Undressing before God!

Many are the ones who ask, “What can I do to know God? I pray, I am sincere, I go to church, I’ve heard the audios, accompanied the blogs, etc., but my prayer doesn’t go past the ceiling, I even cry but when that moment ends, I go back to square one! I don’t know what to do to have the Holy Spirit? “
You need to undress of your own self. But how?
” You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; (Eph.4: 22)
Lets understand the meaning of the words:
Former: what happened, passed;
Put off: undressing, undress;
Corrupt: spoil; become addicted; pervert, become rotten, subornation, bribe, seduce;
Desires: immoderate desire to satisfy sensuality, sensual appetite;
Deceit: act of tricking, illusion, betrayal, error of who is deceiving themselves, lead to deceit;
Sometimes you deceive yourself and have no answers because you didn’t descend to the depths of your soul and undress, in other words, you didn’t stand “naked” before God, ashamed of nourishing in the depths of your being situations that have passed in your life, things of the past that you feel like doing, that is, things that do not please Him!
Who likes to show their nakedness, in other words, their shame, and their bad side?
The wrong things that you nourish within, deceiving yourself, rots, smells bad, and God cannot dwell in a place that is rotten! Or can He?
Acknowledge your shame before Him!
Explain to Him what you like and you know that He doesn’t like, that which you don’t want to give up, expose before Him all your mistakes, irresponsibility, falseness, your pain, what you nurture inside, everything that you see that’s wrong, your pride, your feelings, the way you see yourself… And even what they say is wrong but you don’t see it as sin!
Dear cybernaut, only when you surrender to God, hating your sinful nature, rejecting being like that, is when He can give you new “garments”.
Get rid of what prevents you from receiving God’s new garments that are spotless, white as the light, which is the Holy Spirit!
Only then, will you have the salvation of your soul! God sent His beloved Son so that in Him we have our sins forgiven, and that’s why we shouldn’t keep them inside of us, however minor, small we think it is, we must give everything! Everything!

thank you so much Mrs Viviane ,it is so much of a difficult thing to do,undressing yourself before God ,which is to humiliate and become clean to Him ,but once one do it it helps a lot

Thank you for this post Mrs Viviane I understand that I have to tell God everything not just things on the surface but under hidden deep I used to think that God would already know what was happening in my life already that I didn’t need to explain but I now know I do even if it means feeling the pain of remembering the past.

Very true one thing I learned since the beginning is to be sincere with God, tell him about everything!!!!

this is super powerful, vulnerability is courage. and God will honour all those who expose their everything before Him.
