How do you look at the scars that have marked your life?

Through out my life I got plenty of them, starting with my childhood and on to my adolescence and into my adulthood.

The deeper ones I carry with me until today, the situations that were very difficult for me to overcome.

But how do I look at them? What are my reactions towards them? Do I feel sad, anxious, angry, or down?

Do the memories still move me? Do I see them as something negative or positive?

Today, when I think of every situation that happened to me, I see that they helped me mature. I see in them God’s care for me.

It wasn’t God who made them happen, but He allowed them so I can mature, awaken, so I can be strong enough to face bigger things. So I could help you, who is reading this message and is going through a difficult situation.

You, who hold grudges, hatred, is hurt, or discouraged by something someone did or happened.

You might not understand why this has happened or is happening to you right now, but in the future you will for sure. This will help you be stronger and make you more mature … Depending, of course, on how you face them.

Because if you don’t go through difficult situations, how will you mature? How will you grow? You will always be a child and therefore unable to conquer great things because you won’t have the structure or maturity to manage them.

God won’t be able trust something in your hands … maybe now you understand the reason why you haven’t received what you wanted.

A hug!

  1. I can relate, I have many scars as well. Sometimes I think oh they are too many! But I was able to see through the difficulties God’s care for me, how He helped me through and also how I grow through it all…#experiencegrooms

  2. Thank you Vivi for sharing this its very true everything that I went through and sometimes I still go through it has helped to become very strong and it has also shaped me to be the person that I am today an overcomer in Jesus name so we shouldn’t look at challenges as something to bring us down but we should thank God because it happened and he will give us the strength to overcome
