Faith impels us, it doesn’t make us compare or look to those who use it or don’t. It is a certainty that brings you peace and conviction of the things hoped for.
I was living this faith. I was strengthened! Life experiences teach us to live by faith, which usually we are only conscious about. It becomes more than just being conscious, it becomes part of our life.
And do you know what else this living and intelligent faith moved by this certainty reveals? The fact that you do not need to complain about the circumstances, but see them as opportunities and rejoice in what God has given you.
An example of this happened a lot to me in California. Before having to go through all this pain, I complained about where I lived, that it was far away, etc.
I will explain how severe it is to complain.
I, who live on the Altar of God, have no option to choose anything. I submit myself to all that is directed by the direction of the church, even though I am Bishop Macedo’s daughter. After all, I’m here to serve and not to be served.
However, when I complained, whether in my thoughts or with words, it was a way of disrespecting the work of God. In other words, “I accepted” outwardly because I lived it, but deep down inside me, I did not accept the situation. By complaining it was like I was giving myself the “luxury” of being able to choose and dictate my own will.
In fact, God allows situations that we do not understand to happen so that He may work in us. In other words, He calls us to serve Him, even without having the condition, even though we are full of errors, so He can invest in us.
In order for Him to invest in us, we need to learn through the sufferings we live. He works exclusively on us, isn’t that beautiful?
God was working on me as I thought I was serving Him.
After I went through all the pain, struggles, my faith became stronger, more defined, and bolder.
You do not become better than others; you learn to exercise your belief, which elevates your faith, your experience with God to a whole new level.
Soon after exercising this living faith, Julio was consecrated bishop on April 1999 and we were sent to a different mission, Julio became responsible for the work in English in New York.

yes an intelligent faith is essential because when i face challenges i will see them as opportunities to grow spiritually and not complain.

Thank you Mrs Viviane for sharing this word of God with us .What I’ve learned is that God’s will is differs from our will . God want us to live by faith. He wants us to glorify Him even with our nakeness. When we see challenges we must remember David and Goliath .David was a small boy but by using faith he killed Goliath. He didn’t complain he just faced the challenge and conquered with his faith within him.

Many times God when we go through situations. The first thing we do is complain. ” why me, why is this happening?” And without even realising at that moment it’s like our flesh takes over. I will speak about myself. I was the kind of person that would be there saying ” God mould me, I want to change, to become better, a better servant” but when a situation came along which put me to the test, rather than using my faith at that moment and seeing it as an opportunity to really move forward, I started to complain and even panick. At that moment God showed me the reality of where my faith really was. Trials and deserts are there for us to use them to grow, and to even bring testimonies to glorify God so we can get onto the next level

Its so easy to complain and moan about things and because we dont say it out loud, we think it is ok- or we over look it. But as you said here, even the complaining thoughts disrespect God and His work.
