Going back to the Past – 20th Part – The Hidden is Revealed

Unfortunately, I watched this film in reality: The life of a pastor, who was at my side along with his wife and an adopted daughter, crumble down.

Look what happened.

At the pastor’s meeting, where his mistake was exposed before all of us, the pastor’s wife lost her “ground” with such disappointment. And I, looked for her at the end of the meeting in order to help her with what I could. And the first thing that the wife did was ask forgiveness.

Forgive?
But why? My intention was to help her and she comes asking me for forgiveness?
Forgiveness why?

She said: “Viviane, you know that time that you tried to solve the problem with me. Well yes, I really had a problem with you, but I hid it. And I want to apologize. I recognize that I was not well?…”

I was amazed!
I was not keeping anything from the past, and I even had thought I was making a storm in a teacup. But she did, have a “debt” with me.

I said: Do not worry, it’s the past! I believe I gave her a hug at that moment, because in times like these, I feel the need to embrace in order protect, and not let the person be consumed by feeling accused.

I told her: “I’m here because I want to help you.”

Years passed … they were sent to Spain. And from there they were sent to Argentina, but when they got to the airport in Spain, with ticket in hand, he turns to his wife and gives her the news, that she is going with her daughter to Argentina because he was going to stay in Spain with another woman.

One more disappointment she was now a woman who had an adopted daughter without a father … in conclusion, without a structured home. And with no future, because a pastor’s wife does not work.

Thinking about it, makes me sad, but everything has a beginning. Apparently she was his victim but both began in the work of God badly. Really bad!

When I was in the Cascais church she had told me that they had sexual intercourse before marriage. They were disciplined at that time because he was already an assistant pastor, but unfortunately they both did not learn from their mistakes.

A couple who knows the truth and chooses to do things their own way then ask for forgiveness are not reliable.
They are unreliable not to her and not to him, unless there is the FRUIT OF REPENTANCE.

Why?

Because when they were tested they both proved to be unfaithful to God, they revealed the lack of fear. And in the end when they got married
they both showed lack of fear. And that created many problems: jealousy, fear of justice. So … what is expected when a person wants to hide from what is righteous?

This case, « spoke to me” a lot.
There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. One day everything will be exposed and he who hides, it’s because they are living in the dark.

Even if there is no one watching, they have a conscious of what is the truth. It’s you who decides if you want Jesus or the kingdom of the devil.
