I see the same story repeated, why?

For a while, we’ve been talking about feelings that hinder and consequently affect our children. We see that the bond between a mother and a child is so strong that it goes far beyond genetics, also involving heredity.

I have a friend who was a single mother at 16; there were so many difficulties. Her daughter always complained that she lived between two families, that she was never completely happy, and this week I saw pictures on a social network, and believe me, the girl who much complained has just become a mother, at 17, and she is in the same situation as her mother. History repeats itself and everyone thinks it’s beautiful, but analyzing spiritually, it’s much stronger. Nothing is by chance and here, there are no coincidences.

Have you ever stopped to think that a lot of bad things that happened to your mother, grandmothers, or aunts, also happened to you?

I have my example: In my family, on my mother’s side, none of my cousins, males or females, managed to get married in the church. There was a curse there and we didn’t even know where it came from; my sisters and I were also already suffering from that, there were relationships for years and when the time was close, something happened and we wouldn’t get married.

However, we realized in time and through Faith it was broken! After struggles, vows with God and sacrifice, we got married with the blessing and on the Altar.

Also on the physical part, it came from my father’s family. His mother (my grandmother) died of cancer, as well as all his brothers. My father had cancer and it was then when he took the best decision of his life: He gave himself to Jesus, we fought together and the curse was broken—he was healed and then and there the curse was over!

Dear Mom, whether it’s a physical or spiritual hereditary curse, it can indeed exist, even if you say, “I never did anything wrong or I never got involved with the wrong things,” we never know what our ancestors lived and did, but from the moment a person gets up to fight—God honors them.

Do not waste time, evaluate yourself, and analyze your life and that of your family members.

If you realize something, fight and break any curse through the Faith in the living God of Israel.

Believe me, through Faith you can free yourself and all your descendants, turn the curse into a blessing and just as a curse goes beyond generations—the blessing also does…

Next week we’ll talk about that.

  1. Thank you for sharing, this is something that I’m facing at the moment. There’s a generational curse that I’m fighting against in my family and God has to honour my faith and in this moment I determine that it’ll be broken now in Jesus Name.

  2. I can relate to this, as my mother was extremely independent. Especially when I was younger, I watched my family go from having everything to having less than nothing. On top of that becoming a single parent household, which led my mother to becoming the tough woman that we then started to see.
As I grew older that extreme independent trait was installed in me. Not knowing that it would lead to having some negative characteristics. I use to find it hard to sit back and let people do things for me, as I really believed in the saying
“If you want something done properly, do it yourself”

But since starting to work on that negative character, by trusting in that we all do things differently, and that I make mistakes also when I do things for others, that weight was finally lifted.

  3. It’s so true we can see things regulate in the family, or spot similar patterns. To avoid being the same, I have to constantly fight against it or anything unusual in my life .

  4. Dear Mrs Viviane, this is amazingly strong and so true, that as I read through the message it truly hit home for me, as you said to analyse myself/family there’s been a lot of reputation of habits/curses, which I know and have seen in life before and now e.g I have lost a lot of family members due to alcohol consumption, before coming to church UCKG, I drunk alot too because that’s all I knew and saw growing up but thank God he delivered me from it. The other thing that’s happened to me recently is being divorced just like my parents did before and on a whole my family’s love lives are all a mess, I believe that through this 21 days of Daniel God will do great things in all our lives. Amen Many thanks for sharing God bless you.

    Thank you.
