It’s obvious that no one wants to get older and we would do our best to avoid this common biological process in all living things.

It’s impossible to accurately calculate how many years a person can live nowadays, in fact with the advances in medicine and modern society a person can live a longer and more full life.

However, living for many years will not be significant unless we maintain the best quality of health. It is this goal that we must focus all our efforts on.

Food is the fundamental basis for a body to stay healthy for many long years.

Our environment and nutrients can modify the expression of various genes that protect us from inflammatory, cardiac, circulatory and metabolic diseases.

The greatest contribution we can make to grow old with optimal health is to develop smart habits to stimulate activity of these longevity genes.

There are five pillars for a good anti aging treatment:

  • Reduce stress;
  • Strengthen your immune system;
  • Strengthen the brain and nervous system;
  • Strengthen your cardiovascular system;
  • Strengthen the metabolic and hormonal system.

Along with these five pillars we can highlight the most appropriate and effective foods for anti-aging:

  • Camu camu Acai and Guarana: antioxidants and energy boosters. The amount of vitamin C and minerals in this group increases the endogenous production capacity of glutathione;
  • Chia, flax, hemp, raw cocoa: Fatty acids, polyphenols, essential amino acids, minerals and vitamins of this group of super foods work as biochemists modelers. The fatty acids and amino acids regenerate the elasticity of the plasma membrane of neurons, increasing neuroplasticity capacity fundamental to stimulate memory and concentration;
  • Almonds, cashews, hazelnuts and walnuts: The oils found in this group have the great capacity to stimulate the natural production of hormone growth and testosterone;
  • Strawberries, cloudberries, goji berries, inca berries: Are all antioxidants. With great potential anticancer and anti dementia;
  • Chlorella, wheat grass, barley grass: This group has a great detoxing power with the ability to remove heavy metals and toxins from the body.
  • Quinoa, buckwheat and soybeans: Buckwheat does not contain gluten and is a good source of manganese, magnesium and fiber. Quinoa is a grain that has high nutritional value due to essential amino acids and fibers that stimulate the functioning of the intestines. It does not contain gluten or lactose.

My final advice is to reduce the amount of daily calories as your age progresses. Those who eat less and eat good quality of foods, live longer.

You should also leave a space in your daily agenda to meditate, think positive, because this stimulates the production of endorphin, which is an anti-inflammatory and incredibly rejuvenating substance.

So I recommend you to have a happy life with your friends and family, drink plenty of water, eat little and choose what you eat wisely, learn new things every day and have plenty of physical exercise.

See you in a hundred years!
