Hello dear readers,

Have you ever heard of learning good eating habits? When you have to teach someone good habits it’s because that person is not polite, is rebellious, is undisciplined, and has no self-control. Have you ever stopped to think that perhaps that “person” is living inside of you?

Every day we have to discipline ourselves, and set rules. Our flesh always wants the easiest things; it wants to satisfy its cravings. When we satisfy our flesh’s desire we become its slaves and consequently weak. Therefore, reaping the fruits of these actions.

I have read each of your comments and listed below the major mistakes that I have observed:

Being thin is not a sign of being healthy. You must observe what you’re eating, if you’re consuming more processed foods than natural foods. If so then it’s a sign that you’re not eating healthy.

Too much sugar consumption – Excess sugar can cause many serious health problems. Change your habits and try switching to fruits, which is a natural sugar. Many people try to stay away from fruits that have many calories like: banana, mango and grapes, but end up eating a whole custard pudding! Even if certain fruits seem to be high in calories it is natural, therefore contributing to your body’s health.

I can’t live without eating cake! I, too, was a big fan of cakes. But there comes a time when we have to make a choice. To eat healthier doesn’t mean that you can never enjoy those foods you like, but we must be disciplined. Try to limit yourself to eating those things only once a week. Who is stronger, your sweet tooth or you? ☺

It will be more difficult to eat healthier if you don’t eat for many hours. Discipline yourself and try to eat every three hours.

Next week I will post a diet that I received from an endocrinologist to reduce our daily intake.

Let us be a positive influence even in our eating habits!

  2. Even though I’m not big, I still need to eat healthy and take good care of my health. It’s very true, many think that because one is not fat then it’s ok to eat anything. I came to realise that our eating habits & diet really does affect us in many ways. For example, lately I have had little energy and I know it’s because of the change in my diet, as I sometimes go hours without eating or eat a lot of takeaways and unhealthy snacks. Will fight to change this as of now & continue to follow your blog for some tips. Thank you 🙂
