You know when the decoration in a room is all the same color?

There are work environments that I encounter where the decoration was not chosen by me. And sometimes I run out of ideas in the selection of colors that I should invest in to implement in the room.

In my case, there is an office where the floor is black, the office desk is black, the closet is the same color, and the wall is white.

What do you do?

To not waste or spend money on new furniture, I invest in decorative accessories to brighten and bring some life into the room.

I saw this in a store and it gave me some ideas of where to invest:

  • 2 pillows with red and white stripes;
  • 2 pillows with stripes: one red with beige and the other with blue and beige;
  • 1 smooth red cushion;
  • 1 red and beige pillow.

Observe that the lamps also give a richness to the environment, and the rug just adds more definition and aids in giving that richness as well.

Notice that the colors are “strong”, sort of a “going-sailing” style: blue, red, yellow, and white. There is no mixture of pastel colors.

Why do I say this?

For you to understand that the colors separate styles.

I did not know what to do in these places that were already decorated when I saw them. But when I saw this decoration in the store, I had to take a picture to make a “copy”.

Notice and learn to invest in environments where you usually stay or receive people.

I loved this idea and I had fun accessorizing and learning at the same time.
