False sense of well-being!

This is a very serious problem!
Usually when a person is suffering so much inside, lives in anxieties, fears, insecurities, looking for a scapegoat, and speaking of the “emotional faith”, their refuge is “doing for God” and begins to occupy herself with things to do, but does not solve the problem that is “inside”. And over time, begins to justify herself by what she does, “Oh … I pray, I participate in the events for young people, I go to church, I invited a person to attend the meeting, I am a faithful tither, I help people. etc. ”
But that pain, that problem, insists on staying inside of you. And time goes by, and for acting in a religious way you begin to be deceived by a sense of well being, for what you do and not for who you are and what you believe in!
My dear, we can only give what we have, and if you hide behind religious habits, you will be frustrated, but if you focus on your soul and never lose sight of the need of salvation, you will always be looking to solve your inner conflicts with God, and not in hiding them from God!
Note the words of the Lord Jesus:
“In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.”
(Matthew 23:28)
The Lord Jesus was talking to the Pharisees who fulfilled the laws, but their heart was far from Him!
It’s no use trying to prove to people that you are of God, for God knows and sees everything! Be sincere, expose your real condition and cry out for help!
” Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”
(James 4: 8)
God gives us the opportunity to start over! So take the opportunity and start to draw close to Him right now, and when He comes before you, you’ll have peace, certainty, strength, courage, and everything will be true in you and in your life!
God bless you all and until next week!

We cannot forget that the first soul God has placed in our hands is our own soul. Before fighting to save others, we need to save our own soul. Because if your own soul is not saved and your trying to save others, no matter all your efforts, you cannot save them. We can only bring them to as far as we are. Just like you said: We cannot give what we do not have.

Thank you Mrs Elaine Rocha for this message. I’ve learnt that it is important for one to be of God than to do the Work of God, because what good is it to save the whole world but loose your own salvation. We cannot give what we don’t have. It all begins with a sincere heart.

If we aren’t able to be real with ourself we can never be real with God and to truly love Him all that is required is sincerely

To be sincere this was just what I experience and is the answer to the questions I’ve been asking God looking back at the beginning of the year.
Thank you

We cannot pretend to be who we are not, God always wants us to be sincere with Him. If we are struggling to overcome we must be open and get the right help that we need instead of hiding. God can only help those who are willing to be helped.
