Care that comes from Above!

There are times and situations in our lives that contribute so that the concerns and anxieties reign instead of peace! And we think on how to solve these situations that often afflict us, but because we live in that negative feeling we can’t see beyond.

Note these words:

” Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Pour all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

(I Peter 5: 6-7).

Humbling yourself before God means that you’re recognizing that you can’t do anything without His help! It’s taking to Him your sorrows, fears, problems, and traumas that have made you so fragile!

Pouring yourself and letting go, is trusting that He is in control, and then yes we will have His care, His strength, peace! This is the real joy that every Christian who lives in obedience to God has: the certainty of His care, His love, and that they’re not alone!

You who are reading this message…believe that you’re not alone! God has seen your life and has also seen your reactions. Humble yourself before Him, recognize everything that you’ve carried within yourself, pour yourself on the Altar and believe, use the intelligent faith!

Let’s move forward and meditate on these words:
Recognize;
Be honest;
Humble yourself;
Pour yourself, that is, be ready to sacrifice!

And the answer you need, will come! Trust!

  1. This is something I have learnt more deeply in a spiritual way – to be humble. For sure, when I don’t lean on my understanding and seek God’s guidance, everything has been so peaceful. I am thankful for this message?

  4. This post has helped me alot and has reminded me of the promises of God..
    Matthew 28:20 “I am with you always even to the end of age” &
    “Return to me and I will return to you”
    But why would someone do things with their own strength because they may feel like they are self-sufficient This is pride with God it’s like being Peter trying to walk on the water to Jesus fear that he will sink because what he was doing was unnateral only faith he had to dip into the uknown but with God we have to trust in the unknown is it easy?.. no; but just trust that’s faith and also humility is needed which is very important.

    Because in dodging the bullets the devil shoots sometimes I lose my focus, and I have realized the moment I start doing things with my own strength or stop holding on to the hand of God I become fragile and spiritually weak.

  6. Thank you very much for this blog. I wish I had found it earlier but the fact that we serve the same God with the same spirit God reviewed to me the same thing a few hours back when I was having concerns and anxieties. And realising that I couldn’t do it myself I had to humble myself to Him and poured out myself to Him and the answer came…. It really works for sure!!!!
