Assistant who don’t understand…

Over the past few days I went to the City of Lisbon on a mission, and while I was riding the train I was thinking about what I should write about in today’s article.

In case you didn’t know, I always try to listen to God’s voice and ask for His guidance so that everything I write here will meet your needs.

I don’t just write about something I know or think is correct, but instead I write about something that will cause a revolution inside of you, even if it’s tough to hear.

What I would like to talk about today is about your inner being, something no one can see. Last week we talked about the intentions, how many don’t even think about the reason why they serve God, or the quality of their service in the work of God, and this is something no one can see only God Himself. I don’t know your life or what is inside of you, but I know that our life is a consequence of who we are and that is a fact.

Maybe you’re facing a difficult situation in your life right now and you don’t understand why. You have asked the Pastor for advice, you’ve heard everything and everyone in order to find a solution.

And I ask you: Have you stopped to hear God’s voice? Have you made time for God? Or are you so caught up in that problem that you have made yourself a victim of it?

Dear Assistant, there are many situations that happen in our lives that we aren’t able to understand with our human intelligence alone. We will only be able to discern them with our spiritual intelligence. For you to understand your spiritual state you have to first and foremost listen to God’s voice, seek Him with all your strength, and lay down your life on the Altar.

Many act on an impulse by using their own strength or try to seek justice in the world. But, when you act like this you are not being spiritual. You might even be able to counsel others, but when they face your own adversities you will not be servant enough to firmly remain in the dependence of God. This is very deep and at the same time very serious.

Please stop at this moment and examine yourself to see if you are acting this way- out of spirit. Don’t let your busy lifestyle make you into a carnal assistant, one that doesn’t understand what God expects of you… no matter how hard the battle you are facing may be.

Meditate on this:
“These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holys Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned”
1 Corinthians 2:13-14

  1. Our inner being says a lot about us because on the outside we can put a mask on like everything is fine just because we have have to even when we are dying inside and it goes to point where you mentioned that we need to seek with all our strength to hear the voice of God. Majority of the times we hear the voice of our friend, sister, husband etc but ignore God’s voice and I can truly say this blog was worth reading even more than once.

    .
This is an eye opening message, I always lived emotionally, not buy faith because I would consult God and then take my direction after all, then when things go wrong when I am in the bottom of the pit I would start to cry, thank you, this calls for understanding and intellective.

  6. The way I have lived my life was not asking for God’s advice but my own and have had failures and it is now that am at the bottom of the sewer am beginning to realise He was never consulted.
It is never too late to ask and seek. It starts now.
