Assistant : What is your true state?

Another 21 Day Fast draws near. Assistant, how are you preparing yourself for these days?

What are your thoughts on the 21 Day Fast?

I’ll be honest: There are many who simply, on the inside, neglect the opportunity to participate, with integrity, in this serious and crucial purpose for the development of our salvation.

I say this because many even choose to take part of the Fast, but do it only for show, in an effort not to look bad in front of others. Unfortunately, on the inside, they feel no real need to examine themselves and find out whether or not they are truly baptized with the Holy Spirit.

You may say: “How can you be so bold in “insinuating” that I could be in need of something on the inside? That, maybe, I’m not even baptized with the Holy Spirit?”

The harsh reality is, my dear assistant, many “sadimonies” (sad testimonies) have reached us. They are living proof that there are many among us who do not take their salvation seriously, and have never even had an encounter with God … nor been baptized with the Holy Spirit!

What now? What are you going to say?

It’s not the time to play around. It’s time to use our intelligence and stand alert.

Don’t be glad simply because you have a title, wear a uniform or even cast out “demons”. None of that shows that you belong to God. Don’t kid yourself. Don’t hide behind this facade.

Look at what is written: “Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!” (Matt. 7:22,23)

Having said that, I can only ask: Is that what you want to hear from the mouth of the One you claim to serve?

Be honest with yourself and admit what your true state really is. Only then will you be able to take change your course in life and turn things around.

But do this now! Before it’s too late!
