Assistant : Assistant without “STPbE”

We are in the first month of another year and it is very important to devote quality time, where we stop everything to Think and Plan our lives during this next year.

We are certain that many unexpected things will happen and that many changes will emerge. However…

STOP, THINK, AND PLAN before EXECUTING (STPbE); that is, taking action is the most effective strategy anywhere, with anyone, in any situation!

In God’s work it’s equally important to follow this STPbE, which in reality is a discipline, an order. Deep inside there is a great difficulty by the assistants to follow this line. There is no such zeal in order to stop to think and plan how they will serve God. And that applies in various areas within the Work of God.

The tendency is to do everything in a hurry, without a working method. They come to church, wear the uniform, go to the reunion hall to attend the people, as if it were something common, a routine, that is, as if it were another “hobby”, and the result of that is that they leave the church with a sense of frustration as if their offering was not accepted by God. Has this ever happened to you?
I’m not trying to say with this that they do it with evil intentions. No! But it’s something that with time it happens without realizing it.

The warning that the article of today wishes to make is that today you STOP, THINK and PLAN your conduct within the Work of God. Don’t do anything just to do it, but that you have well-established goals to win the largest amount of people for the Kingdom of God.

Examples of STPbE (STOP, THINK and PLAN before EXECUTING) of God’s work:

Before going to the church prepare yourself spiritually.
Elevate your thoughts and ask yourself: With what purpose am I going to church today?
What does God want from me?
What is needed today to help my pastor?
The people that I’m accompanying, what do they need from me? What is the guidance that I should give them?
Regarding the physical part, when it comes to cleaning and organizing the House of God, think of the details that mark the difference and go far in this direction.

The reality is that if there is this search from your part, that interest, then you will find, but for that to happen follow the infallible formula: STPbE
