A youth’s word

Since I began to understand things, I have heard people say that the youths are the future.

But I wonder, what type of future? If every day there is more violence, unemployment, teenage pregnancy, prostitution, drugs, etc.

Is this the future we are talking about? Who invests in young people today?

The government does care about them. Many parents have lost hope. Young people have lost perspective of life, the desire to be somebody, to have a future; they’ve lost all will to live.

Why has it gone this far?

Because the youths aren’t the future, they are the present. How can I reap tomorrow if I don’t sow today?
Everyone says “YOUTHS ARE THE FUTURE”, but who wants to invest in them? Who will take that responsibility? THAT PROBLEM?

Ops! Wait, did I read that correctly? THAT PROBLEM?

Yes, you read it right, because that’s how young people are seen nowadays. I want you to think and prove me otherwise.
Who wants to invest in a drug addict, a prostitute, a pregnant teen, a homosexual, etc.?
Would you employ a teen in that situation? Would you believe in them?
They don’t even believe in themselves. Who knows, maybe while reading this right now, you find yourself in this situation, and you say to yourself I’m not what people say.

But you are being despised, you can’t get a job opportunity, you aren’t doing well in school, dating, with your family…
I want to tell you, I believe in you, I want to invest in you.

But I need you to give yourself this opportunity, so that we can help you.

The first step is to believe in yourself.
The second is to come to us. Consequently you will see the changes. Stop, think, you have nothing to lose.

YOU ARE WORTH A LOT
