Sarah’s smile

” Sarah said, “God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.” (Genesis 21: 6)
How great is the joy after giving birth, isn’t it true? What mother remembers the terrible contraction pains when she sees the face of her child?
Who cares about the deformed body after nine months of pregnancy, if all this sacrifice made her know an unconditional love?
Certainly, Sarah forgot the long years she waited when Isaac was born. This is the true joy, that which comes from the Spirit, the one that celebrates the realization by faith! It is spread to everyone around us, makes us forget all the struggles that we went through and renews our strength for the next battle.
Just as a woman gets to know that true love only after motherhood, a human woman can only have this spiritual smile, which cleanses the soul, after having had her experience with God.
These are experiences that change our lives, that mark a “before and after”.
Let’s take this time to seek and have experiences with God, so we can celebrate as Sarah did—spreading to all who hear our laughter, so that it is known How great is our God.

This gives me a travel to my first experience with God and how everything within me so that was the birth that took place within me as a woman of God.
