9th day – 13th June | Monday | Matthew 2:11

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

  1. So far the lessons I have learnt
    – Before I was far too busy for God
    – I haven’t been focus with God as I should
    – Today’s audio fits with I mistake, I did where I allowed myself to be overly emotional. That I brought emotion to my faith. Then I jumped from one extreme to another. I admit I am still emotional when I think about it still but it shows I have to change. This irrational faith needs to stop, as it bring negative consequences to my family.

  2. A treasure is what you hold dear to your heart. The wise men’s worship of the Lord was perfect because they detached themselves of their treasure and gave it to God. Similarly, my worship to God is reflected if I surrender my treasures – what I keep of worth within my heart and exchange it for Him; and make Him my treasure. Also, the wise men were not afraid to lose – they were unattached to the treasures they presented the Lord Jesus and neither were they afraid to leave their country and all they know just to find and worship Him. They left eveything for Him.

  3. I can only give my best when I give GOD full access to my life. That’s when I can give my treasure to the Lord.

I have noticed I have stopped giving that full access. Right now I am in stage where I am alone and GOD wants me to just give him that access.

There is a part of me that’s scared nut I am gonna do it because I want to be revived

  5. How do I present myself when I see Jesus is the first thing that came into my mind.

But then in general how do I present myself to people, at my work place in general.

One thing I also got from these wise men is that they was humble. Even though Jesus was just a baby, they realised they was nothing and they worshipped. They really valued Jesus.

I need to give my treasures to GOD daily. It’s not enough what I am doing at the moment. I need to really give more.
Am I happy when I come to the house of GOD?

Do I give him the best in every hour of my day? Including my team and everything about me.

When I see Jesus, when I do things for Jesus but most importantly when I am claiming to represent Jesus I need to give him my all. My best.

It may be hard at the beginning, but seriously – no sacrifice no success. And I must do this with a loving heart.

  6. I have been learning that my love for Jesus has been conditional and based on what I see in my external life. When things don’t go the way I have wanted, I use this as an excuse to rebel, and be rude to others. This week I have made a decision to obey irrespective of the circumstances I am passing through.
