“I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.”(John 5: 30)

The Lord Jesus is not precipitated, as we humans are, and He does not seek to do His will. And therein lies the secret: While He was here on earth He did the Father’s will.

One of the biggest mistakes people make is to do their will.

What is clear is that the more you serve yourself the more problems you have. Have you noticed that? The more you are focused on your “world” the worst your life becomes.

We were meant to give to God, and serve Him and not to live according to our “world” and needs.

Every time we are quick to judge someone with our eyes, we are actually judging according to our will and not the will of God. God sees everyone as a soul.

Maybe you judge people because you never looked to yourself?

You judge and condemn the wrong acts someone commits, when, in fact, you yourself carry a burden, are hurt, have resentment, and are not living the present because you keep referring to the past.

You judge according to what you have heard, based on destructive words. And live, today, remembering the past. Your judgment is unfair!

If you notice you have already said many bad things, but if you see someone else doing it you don’t tolerant it, that means you have not look to yourself!

Your judgment is not fair, and it is not so because you are doing your will!

How did Jesus judge? He did not seek to do His will!

“… I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.”

What is the will of God?

Compassion just as He had for us by offering His Son who is perfect in favor of imperfect people. He could have given an angel, but He gave His best for us!

So do not let the past be your “instructor”, or make you become a bitter person! Rather, be fair to yourself by learning to give. Uproot that selfishness that is inside of you and invest in your spiritual life! Go out to evangelize, help people.

Notice how many have suffered, and you, in your “world” holding on to the burdens of the past.

Surrender to God and devote yourself in surrendering to Him! Let go of who you have been, and serve Him so you can be totally transformed.

  1. Thank you so much for taking the time to write these posts to help each of us become and grow spiritually to become one with God. Today’s post has really spoken to me for I allow my past to be the root of my decisions of the present. I’ve became a bitter, selfish person because of this. Today’s post allowed me to understand doing this will only make it worse, which has been the case for me. Thank you for using the Holy Spirit to speak to us each day ! I know one day God will use me as well. Much love !
