Why you do not understand God’s language

Hello everyone, are you prepared to hear the truth?

If you are perusing your goal to serve God, then you are ready and willing to address what is before you, but if you are reading this as an obligation because someone told you to, then you will not seize the opportunity and will be offended by what I say.

“Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.” (John 8:43-47)

 
What the Lord Jesus said to the Jews was short and to the point. And you might say, “My God, Viviane, you are confusing me, are you saying that I’m of the devil! I do not understand what God wants from me, I do not know… It’s all too hard. I do not understand God’s Word. It has been very hard to read these articles because they make me feel attacked.”

 
If this is your case, I’ll tell you why Jesus said, ” You are of your father the devil.” I am not claiming that everyone reading this is of the devil. Not at all! But, I want you to pay attention to the characteristic and see if you fit in these examples. Not that you are “the devil”, but you are listening to him instead of God.

 
The first characteristic that the Lord Jesus refers to is:

“… you are not able to listen to My word…”

It is a person who does not tolerate the truth because he or she feels accused and hurt by it.

 
Second characteristic:

“…and the desires of your father you want to do…”

Maybe you are young and love the things the world has to offer, boyfriends, or friendships. You see a group of young people with pretty girls and good-looking boys and you think, “Since I’m in Church my life is so hard. I want Jesus, but they have more freedom and opportunities than I do. ”

Maybe you were born inside the Church and think the world has more to offer you than God. You want to satisfy your desires.

The laughter, groups of friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, and promiscuous life is all an illusion that has consequences. Do not be deceived in thinking that God is severe, bad, and selfish. No! When you do not want to hear the Word of God, it is because you do not want to be disciplined. You do not accept the truth, but the truth is the reality and the illusion, deception brings suffering.

 
Third characteristic:

“He was a murderer from the beginning…”

Who can be considered a murderer? It is someone who causes someone else’s death. For example, when you do your will you will notice that in the end, you feel sorrow, agony, loneliness, and searching for something to fill it. But cannot find it!

And when you want to satisfy your desires, your behavior “kills” other people Kills a marriage, friendship, truth, and purity. Passing on what is bad.

 
Fourth characteristic:

“…and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him….”

You do not want the truth and you do not stand firm in it because there is no truth in you. You like and delight in what is an illusion. You might even try to practice the truth for a while, but soon you go back to where you were!

And this is the answer to the question many have who say they cannot practice the truth, they try for a while, but always return to the same practices. You go back because you want God, and also want continue to love your life and desires. There is no way to do this!

Either you love your practices or God. God gives you something true, real, and permanent, regardless of any circumstances. He makes you free!

 
“Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?

He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God. “

Whoever hears the Word of God reveals they belong to God. Whoever does not hear the Word of God, is not His. If you detect these characteristics in your life then resolve them! Although it hurts to hear the truth, listen! Even if you still want to fulfill your personal carnal desires that is causing you harm, the only way to change that is to rely on God! There is no “magic”, only a miracle and this happens when you tell God about your limitations, for example, by saying, “I have been that person of the devil, who does not like to hear Your Word. I get restless during meetings, restless when I read Viviane’s articles, and do not like to receive advice. I like to satisfy my desires. I have caused division in my family because of my behavior. I do not have true friendships because I’m not real I live in this illusion. I do not like the truth, because the truth does not abide in me. I’m a liar, deceitful. I like to hide my real self.

My God, I want to change this situation, I don’t want to be like this anymore. Now, I make the decision to change because I need you to wash me with Your Word. ”

 
If this is your situation, talk to God. You are not condemned to hell because you are still alive and can change the situation! God loves it when you do that. He loves when you are sincere and pursue righteousness. He will embrace you.

 
Start now, talk to God upon reading this article. Choose a place to be alone with God. If possible, put background music on so that you will not be distracted with something else. Present your goals and tell Him that you do not accept to be the same, resolve your situation!

 
And even if you say you like to hear the voice of God, but still finds errors inside yourself and sometimes still have desires that are contrary to God’s will, then talk to Him so you can become dependent on God and find an answer when you are most afflicted. Talk to God and resolve the issue.
