Why should I take care of myself?

Every week I’ve been giving beauty tips to help you, women, invest in yourself.

I’ve been thinking about how to help each of you even more and I decided to write a bit about the importance of taking care of yourself.

Beauty is an issue that touches a lot of woman because all of us want to feel beautiful and happy, especially with our appearance. But for those who usually don’t take care of themselves, don’t you think it’s worth a try?

One of the virtues of a V woman is that she takes care of her appearance. Regardless of our age we all need to take care of ourselves.

I’ve heard many times that the most important beauty is inside. I agree … But aren’t both things related? Because if I value myself then I’ll take care of myself in the best possible way and this will be obvious to everyone. A woman who takes care of herself and has a good appearance will certainly be more successful in whatever she wants to accomplish.
Let me give you an example: If I go to a job interview without worrying about my appearance I will portray that I’m a sloppy person, even if I have a great résumé. If there’s another candidate with both qualities, for sure I will lose out.

My friend, I’m telling you this so you can start a new chapter in your life. It’s time to stop feeling inferior! You can do this by choosing to look at yourself in another way, as someone stronger and more determined.
Don’t be afraid to take risk with a new hairstyle, a more colorful outfit or dress, a different accessory, or a more elegant outfit. This will show that you’re open to change and this will sure please God.

I’ll leave you with a challenge this week:
Prepare a look that you like and usually see on other people, but have never tried to recreate it at home. Remember the rules: A beautiful look is one that conveys harmony and discretion.
If you prefer stick to solid colors it will be easier to match different things and to highlight a different detail. Ex: A pretty belt, a scarf, a pin, etc. There are many options just use your creativity.

Don’t think that in order to dress well you need to have a lot of money. That’s an excuse! Try to use what you have and make easy outfits.
