What do you usually celebrate?

Hello to all the cybernauts!

It’s a pleasure to be here with you, and I would like to know: What do you usually celebrate? Do you usually celebrate your birthday? When someone gets married? When achieving something?

Let’s read the book of Hebrews 11:28, which “speaks” about the faith…

” By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.”

Who did this?
Still continuing to talk about Moses, by faith he celebrated Passover… Why? When one hears about Passover (Easter), usually in Brazil, you think about a chocolate egg, the “bunny” … This is all “gibberish”! Just to sell chocolates. They establish holidays, often, to make sales.

But looking at the Faith, what is a celebration? You can see that Moses celebrated Passover, when he killed an animal and put the blood around the doorframe. Why? He did exactly what God had told him to do. “Funny” that the Bible says that he celebrated it. When we celebrate something, it’s because we are very happy, and when we sacrifice, when we act out the faith, we become very happy people. In Moses’s case, he wasn’t “seeing” anything, but this time he celebrated… He didn’t do it when God turned his staff into a snake, nor when the plagues came, insects, hail, the Nile turned into a river of blood … There was no celebration.
But when there was bloodshed—sacrifice, there was a certainty within him!

When there is sacrifice from our part, we are not indifferent—we celebrate because we believe in what will happen next.

My cybernaut friend, look how interesting this is! Faith celebrates sacrifice. Often we “hurt” but when we celebrate it’s because we already have an answer…there is an answer in our “chest”.

This answer doesn’t need to be seen, it’s within you! This is faith! It’s very beautiful! Because it’s something genuine, it’s from God! As we already know, faith is assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of facts which are not seen. How wonderful is faith—it makes me feel powerful! And when we have this faith that guides us, leads us, it’s when we are at peace with everything and with God. We know who we are!

Observe the following: Moses had already received several “no’s” from Pharaoh, apparently it seemed that God was who would have to submit to the word of Pharaoh, if the people could come out from Egypt or not.
Couldn’t they have fought and finished with the Egyptians there? After all, the Jews were more numerous than the Egyptians … Why didn’t it happen this way? Because God is beautiful, you don’t feel insecure with the “no’s” of life; He is who hardened Pharaoh’s heart…

.Sometimes you don’t understand why things are so difficult … It’s just so that you can use your faith, exercise it, and when there is sacrifice, there is a celebration for having done it, because there is certainty

When you sacrifice, obey God’s voice, my cybernaut friend, and within you there is certainty, joy…you don’t feel powerful just because you exercised your faith, but because the Kingdom of God exists within you!
Even though the circumstances around you are contrary, there is a certainty. That’s wonderful! Wonderful!!

I would like to read your comment here on the Blog.
I’ll wait for it… Do you have something to say? Or will you leave it for later?
I don’t know, you decide…
I’ll wait with joy for those who do it.

A big hug!
Next week we’ll be back.

  2. Morning Dona Vivi, its very interesting that we celebrate even though we are sacrificing without seeing results but because we obeyed the voice of our unseen God. When we obey our faith we disobey the voice of the devil that is what brings us strength and joy even before we see physical results. The same way when we listen to doubts and fear we are actually choosing to obey the voice of the devil and we reap the consequences which is sadness and uncertainty.

    Kisses.

  3. honestly my joy comes from having assurance that my God is happy about who i am before Him, knowing that i am from God and that everything i do and even receive is from Him, which automatically comes as a result of sacrificing like you are saying. When i feel insecure i know that there is something i am failing in, which most of the time is using my faith, sacrificing. Thank you for sharing the message, it is really helpful!

  5. Wow D.Vivi, faith celebrates sacrifice! What a revelation, this is so beautiful because as you wrote we have an assurance of the things to come and a joy when we obey our Lord, our creator! so I agree that faith has every reason to celebrate sacrifice. I’ll share and meditate this.

    Thank you :0) xxx
