To serve (Part II)

There are several ways to serve, as we mentioned in the previous post, but God does not accept everything.
Someone who evangelizes, counsels people, is active in the Church, is not doing anything wrong, but how does this flow from within you?
If you are inactive, that is, your faith is inactive, when you counsel someone you only transmit the awareness of God’s Word, but not the life that is in God’s Word! You are not serving God. You are doing the “Work” of God like the Pharisees:
“Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.”(Mt.23: 26-28).
This uncleanness that the Word of God mentions, is when you ignore the fact that it is your duty to correct your mistakes, because you think that everyone makes mistakes! For this reason you tolerate your sins, live with them and only have the appearance of being holy.
Many, after receiving the Holy Spirit, think they do not have to take care of their salvation, because they feel they are already saved and do not need to maintain it. They just think about helping others and not themselves.
Serving God begins inside of me, and only after can I serve him externally!

To serve God differs from doing the work of God,,, But what matters most here is to serve God,, which you can transmit to other people as well,,

Thank you Mrs Viviane for sharing with us, from this post I really learned that serving God begins with serving inside . Because serving on the outside does not mean I serve him truly. So I should always seek to serve God always from in within.

As a servant of God ,I should live a clean life, keep my heart clean as well as my outwardly.I should take care of my salvation because am a soul who needs to be saved before I save others.

I understood that I have to be profound from my inside so that I can transmit not only the word but an abundant life that flows from me to those around me.
