“The Word of God purifies us and destroys all evil.” – Vivi Freitas

“Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible. Then Mary said, ‘Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.’ And the angel departed from her.” (Luke 1:36-38)

If you read the previous post, you know why the angel spoke to Elizabeth… The unexpected happened to her as well. She was old and unable to conceive. Everyone called her barren, yet she was pregnant.

What do people say about you?

Maybe they say you’re ‘barren’, problematic, proud, selfish, etc.

But it doesn’t matter, for nothing is impossible with God.

What people say about you can become your testimony.

When you discover the truth about yourself and know your situation, you can fight to change it. But when you have no direction, when you don’t know your situation, you can’t fight to change it; you don’t have the weapons you need.

For with God nothing will be impossible.”

Through these posts, many women have realised and faced their weaknesses, allowing God to perform the supernatural. Jacob was considered a deceiver, so why did God say that He would reign over the house of Israel?

Because he was a person who made mistakes and had flaws and sins.

God cannot reign over the life of a person who thinks he or she is perfect, who cannot see his or her mistakes and flaws.

Jacob wrestled with the angel because he needed God’s blessing…

So, if you consider yourself inferior, complicated or problematic, know one thing: God wants to reign over your life, but first you have to wrestle with God, with men and even with the angels, if necessary. Jacob did this, but most people today look at their situation and think they can manage it.

“Then Mary said, ‘Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.’ And the angel departed from her.”

We have to show our obedience and commitment to God with our own lives, that is, in a practical way.

Many people say, “Here I am,” but they are not willing to fight.

You must examine your life and find out who you are before God.

Maybe you talk a lot, but what will differentiate you from the rest is where you have been putting all your strength and what you have been fighting for.

Do you prioritise your own will? Do you fight tooth and nail to defend your rights? Do you always have excuses? Are you always trying to justify yourself? Or are you focused on what God wants you to be?

You should think carefully about this.
