Returning to the Past – 64th Part

Prayer and definition were not something just momentary. No! I lived it every day.

I could see things differently and it became easier to be vigilant.

I noticed that when I had something to resolve, that is, by talking to someone or counseling them I was not agitated or anxious. Normally, when we have a problem that we have to resolve, and we are the only one who can take action, we feel a certain anxiety to resolve it because that responsibility also touches your ego.

But everything was under control. Controlled by faith! I remember one time I had to say a few things to my husband that would help him and when he came home I told him I needed to tell him something important. He told me, “Tell me quick because I have to go do the Radio Program.” I said, “Mimiu, I can not talk like that, in a rush. I need time.”

After a while, after he had done the radio program, he came to ask me what I had to tell him. He knew it had to do with him so he wanted to know right away. This time I was able to speak to him with my head without my emotions getting involved.

It is interesting how when we act with intelligent faith, it does not only bring momentary results, but also long term results. My attitudes, my controlled emotions, my vision, my perception of things, all changed in an intelligent way. And even more interesting, is the certainty that is within us all the time. It is a security that you get not with what happens externally, but with what happens inside. This security does not come from you, but from God Himself.

It is beautiful! Simply beautiful! Those who depend on God, those who acts with faith do not feel alone, disoriented, insecure or afraid. On the contrary, the difficulties make that person love more and become closer to God in such a way that it does not matter the environment or the place they are in or the difficulties that exist around them. Faith is something untouchable.
