I learned a lot in England, especially with the challenges I faced. There were many things there to explore and develop.

My faith always led me to finding new things and there was hardly any time left for me. I was exhausted with all the purposes, the daily struggles with the Work of God and the Woman’s program. Even though things were getting harder and harder, I kept on insisting because I had goals to achieve and that required sacrifice.

My body was beginning to show symptoms that something was not right. Since in Spain I had to be treated for allergies and there was a significant improvement I suspected that it could be that again. I was in a new country, discovering new things and had the world ahead to explore. I could not accept the fact that I had to stop to take care of myself. So when I had spare time, I would rest to try to recover my energy. But my body was still warm, my eyes burning from a terrible lack of sleep.

I told my mother about this and she advised me to go see a doctor. I went to an allergy specialist in Brazil who said I needed to undergo a treatment because I had a severe case of allergies. But the treatment I had to do could not be done in England, so it was suggested that I do a three-month treatment in Spain.

I passed the message to the leadership, who accepted me going to get this treatment done. In the meantime, we would work in Spain, since Julio took care of that country as well. And there began a new phase in my life…
