Returning to the Past – 70th Part

My sister, who started the Woman’s program was always in touch with me to help me improve.

She was always being that typical Big Sister! She knew how difficult it was because she had gone through the same thing. Although she was in Texas at the time, she always helped me.

There was one week when she called me asking, “Vi, how are the program meetings being held?” I told her how we were doing it. She asked because there was a theme that she had passed to us, but she didn’t like how we did it. So I told her that the more experienced wife had given the other wives tips. Cris immediately noticed that those tips were not of the spirit.

Cris called my attention: “Vi what are you doing? You’re in charge of the program, you can’t let this happen, you have to take hold of the program. You are in charge because you have spirit to pass! And you can’t let yourself be lead by others because you feel inferior in terms of experience. You have to be in the spirit and not in the flesh… ”

I don’t remember exactly the words Cris used, but that’s how I understood it. After I received that call I made a decision in my prayer to God, and I spoke with God in defense of the faith He gave me, that I would no longer accept to stand still in my faith. I had to take hold of the “staff”!

Before that, I had spoken to my father, “Dad, you don’t want to put someone else on the program? I make a lot of mistakes?” (My intention in speaking to him was so I did not put God to shame.) And He said: “My daughter, what matters is the Spirit.”

This is true, we didn’t use church language in the program, but the themes we spoke about had to do a lot with one’s spiritual life, without mentioning God or the church. And to do the program, it had to be someone who had that spirit. It couldn’t be done professionally because you can’t find Spirit in theory. This can be done only when we put our faith in action. When we have an obedient faith. Only those who live by this faith to honor God can pass Spirit in their words. The Spirit of God brings life, brings action, it also does this in the life of those who hear and accept those words.

Today, as I write this, I can understand! God is like this. He helps us in our difficulties, to show us what kind of belief we have in Him. And also for us to practice what we would never have to if we were not faced with this challenge.

Later on, two new wives came to participate in the program, and the other one, the one who had no patience, was taken out. Not because I did something, but God Himself took her out.

  2. Thank you Mrs Viviane .You can’t understand what this massage has passed to me.
To be honest I use to think I’m chosen to do anything in the house of God because I’m recognized as the weakest.Sometimes even the simple think of making isihwasho(blessed water for the healing other servants don’t allow me even when we are working together its like even to tir up plastic can be difficult for me according to them.
And this things they make me to think even the time I can be chosen to do something I can’t.
It makes me not even to be interested of taking an offering back for they will always suppers me and I was so active but I’m no longer.
This massage has healed me.I feel loved by God to understand this.(to pass the spirit is only one thing that is needed no experience.
Thanks and may God use you even more.
Not to praise you but in many times your massages make me to accept me.They are surprising for I could think about Bishop’s daughter who know everything but it helps me in that simple kind and heals me and renew my mind in other way.
